Default Groves v Eubank Jnr - WBSS Semi Final 17/2/18

I'm pretty much in agreement with the guy who wrote this, Groves hits hard and will have a BIG weight advantage but I can't help thinking that if Eubank can soak it up will Groves burn out late on?
This is one fight that seriously intruiges

This is a hard fight to call and Groves looks bigger than Junior. He also has the experience and jab to give Eubank issues.

I just think Junior will catch Groves and finish him off in the fight.

Yes, Groves is bigger and he has good power and a very decent jab. His boxing skills are good too.

However, he really does have a stamina issue. He gasses out after the sixth nearly every time, and I do wonder about his mental strength if things go against him.

While we know what we are getting with Groves, Eubank is more of a conundrum. I don't think he has peaked yet.

He comes across as a bit of a prick, but he has shown good technique, nice power and a good chin and engine.

This is a good matchup isn't it?

It's a top end UK matchup this one with a brilliant clash of Styles.
There's a very good chance Eubank will end up on his ass from.a huge Groves right hand counter in round 1 just like Froch did.
Eubanks needs to be careful early on.... or does he?
If Eubank can take Groves Power then he wins by a stoppage mid to late rounds.
It really does hinge on whether or not Eubank can take that right hand.
Don't see any way at all that this isn't a classic UK tear up.
    Can't wait for this one

Don't forget if Eubank Junior can land that uppercut then it could be over for Groves as well.

Groves by decision. He has the smarts get through it and outbox his man.

It's an excellent match up, like X said, we don't really know where Eubank is at yet. He looked fantastic last out but Groves is more experienced and will be very tough to beat.

Should be good fight as both are genuine tryers. The experience and weight says Groves but I believe that Junior has more. I see a true star emerging and Groves will be the opponent to prove it. I watched Ronnie Davis's face when explaining how good he thinks Junior is. He convinced me.

Is that the same Ronnie Davis that is there just to "Apply Vaseline and carry the bucket"? or the Ronnie Davis that is told by his Boxer to "Stop Talking" when he was offering advice in between rounds? I can him being very convincing .

Good article smashup did not realise Gutknecht can no longer function normally and is a mute and in a wheelchair.

Groves is very funny. I would not mind him winning, I like the guy.

Eubank snr is busy pissing people off.....
Pretty shitty way to hype a fight

TYSON FURY has branded Chris Eubank a “disgrace” and accused him of trying to use Nick Blackwell’s horror injury to promote his son’s fight with George Groves.

Well I'm pissed off, I thought this was on this weekend, that's scuppered my plans.

Also it surprised me when I realised there is only 12 months age gap between groves and Jr, I thought Groves was 32 or 33, he's only 29, seems like he's been around for years whilst Jr seems like a novice still.

Oh dear, sometimes I wish JR would tell his dad to shut the fuck up
