Can't believe you hadn't @mentioned me earlier. Ok, so you're dying to know my take on this. Here it is....

That girl is F-A-T. Unhealthily so. Shame really, 'cause she's very well spoken, seems to have a good personality, and has a very pretty face. If she lost 150 pounds or so, she'd be a knockout model.
But I admire her attitude. Like she said, she's not championing obesity. She's trying to get women to feel good about how they look now. No shame in that, I guess.
Better than go around with inferiority complexes and have that ruin your whole life.
That being said, it would be interesting to see a lineup of models going gradually from thin to "plus-size" and see where we all would draw the line.
