Does this defense (his 20th of the WBA) equal Hopkin's record?

Boxrec says it is his 19th.... who to trust I don't know, I guess I could count em :S... also wba is weird and cap with their normal champ and super champ how many of golovkin were normal title defences when the super title was around... same goes for hopkins... all in all it is slightly irellevant. .. but wining 20 in a row for even a fake qorld title is still pretty impressive.

GGG Canelo? How'd you have the fight sunshine? Or are you just about flooding the boards to see your name at the moment? Knock it off.

I like Brock, he is a little weird and that sits well with me, I did prefer it when he sat in the 'off topic' part of the forum though

No one is talking about starving his family ffs and frankly to put it simply..he's better than this just left to be just snatching up coins. After all he WON the fight between the two, well save for the judges. And the only cheat here is Canelo. A bad match is a bad match regardless of the situation and they have collectively let him to dangle in that condition.
Exactly, suggesting GGG still is in need of anything after what boxing has given him is only typical deception.

GGG could have not boxed, he could have stayed in Kazakhstan if he had an average salary he would make 6,588$ a year. And because the Russians wanted to know the lasting effects of nuclear fallout so they intentionally did their nuclear testing above ground in Kazahkstan his family could have stayed there and died of cancer like many other Kazakhs.

GGG has done quite well in boxing, and when you do well in ANYTHING expectations come along with it. Suggesting that is not natural is deception of the most obvious variety.
In fairness I don't think boxing gives much to guys taking punches and we really cannot measure a mans needs. Golovkin merits everything he's earned based on those roots and what he came from and obvious ability. But that scale is a two way street and consumers call mismatches out be they some 4 round John Doe or one of the top p4p fighters today. My biggest problem is I think he's being played a bit and the pushback has already shifted off of Canelo the cheat.
If we didn't know he was waiting on Clanelo next, which means nothing towards who is the best middleweight in the world, I wouldn't care that he's fighting a guy who never made it moving up off a loss and a long layoff. If you look at GGGs CV this is no different than the rest. I just hate a meaningless fight before a meaningless fight when for the first time in so long there are many meaningful fights at the weight.

    Jacobs rematch overdue
    Charlo waiting
    BJS waiting
    Derevyanchenko waiting

I don't speak about Clanelo because he's a proven cheat. His ONLY relevance is money. Nobody will forget he is a cheat.

StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. Tickets are available on AXS.com. Martirosyan (36-3-1, 23 KOs) hasn't fought in two years and is coming off a loss, but he should be a formidable challenge for the Kazakh charlatan

    You knock it off moonshine.

I had GGG winning the fight by 2 points. Perhaps you need some clarification. That's what I meant by barely got by.

Also a very paltry accusation you have made about flooding the boards.

160 seems to be back in limbo once again, just as it was starting to get going.

Will the IBF force the mandatory after this, or the WBC, or even possibly the WBA? Or will they all step aside if Canelo wants the immediate rematch upon his return.

Theirs also the unification with BJS. Starting to get a bit of a backlog.

Clanelo and his money messed everything up. There are significant fights to be made to prove best in the division (which Clanelo has nothing to do with) and they won’t be made until after the money. It’s understandable but sucks.

GGG will fight Clanelo in September
BJS will continue the bum tour until he gets the payday fight
Hopefully Jacobs and Charlo fight because that at least means something and it’s the only meaningful fight that might happen this year.
