Default Harrison v Smith Bounce TV ~ Haney v Menard Showtime

Couple of cards tonight so putting them up. Decent main event here with capable Tony Harrison 26-2 meeting the man with 100 lives..and big fight opportunities Ishe Smith 29-9. If Smith lets his hands go and brings it like he did last out with Julian Williams then Smith will have his work cut out for him. On paper a big step up for Harrison and his last two ended very badly for him after boxing smart early. Not sure how much I'll catch but feel free to chime in updates or other rambles.

Co main has Andrew Tabiti 15-0 facing Lateef Kayode 22-2-0-2 NC cruiserweights. This may have been a solid match a couple of years ago. Tabiti coming in off biggest win but has been moving at snails pace it seems.

Kicks off right about now on Bounce.

Showtime comes an hour later with Devin Haney 18-0 squaring off against hometown bwoy Mason Menard 32-2 for a stepping stone trinket. Menard had a nice run going but comes in off long lay off after taking his own step up fight before last and running squarely into the left hook eraser of Ray Beltran. Screw it we don't need two threads .

Decent fight and style mesh. Harrison is a good offensive fighter, put plenty of hurt on Hurd and matched him for physicality much of the fight. However the first couple of rounds go will probably be all she wrote, smith won’t have anything to turn it around and is too used to losing anyways. Excellent journeyman at this stage though, must be in demand as a good sparring partner.

Cameron Krael and Erick Bone really taking turns here. Always love to see a 50-50 guy come in and lay it all out. And man..TMT signs 50-50 fighters . He rocked Bone hard there.

True true, very easy to fall into patterns going on 40 yrs old. But he really fought inspired v Williams like he saw his days numbered.

No KD . Man takes a knee under massive barrage should be a knock down. Krael hurt badly end of 6th!

Erik Bone gets by Krael with split decision.

Kayode looks massive in the body. If he's under 200 lbs I'm a flyweight. Might have won that 1st round though.

Case of Kayode mauling and brawling in close and Tabiti trying to fight from perimeter with hard counters. You couldn't pay me to fight Kayode..the guy uses everything, chops, head, shoulder bumps and maul-clinches you like a drunk Grizzly. Some good sharp shots mid 5th from Tabiti

Love to see Tabiti cut loose, they said earlier he's weary of traveling for big cruiser fights overseas. Someone tell him the cruiser division is overseas.

If you would have told that years after Smith balled his eyes out on the Contender I'd be rooting for him I'd call you nuts . Can't help but like Harrison also, the 'last of Kronk'? Talk about big shoes to fill.

1st minute in and Smith throws zero punches..Harrison round solely on jab.

Smith actually matching jabs in 2nd, strangely his looks harder of the two. Nice right send Smith into ropes. Smith better pick a poison and come forward because he's going to run outta rounds trying to be lay back and be cute and wear him down.

Woah nelly, big right hands drops Smith in a heap. He's up but he felt that. Nice shot by Harrison and doesn't go crazy trying to jump him..

Good work from Harrison last minute 4th. Throwing in combo now as Smith waves him in standing in corner. When Harrison puts the hands together impressive. Smith in tough spot, now or nothing.

Smith doesn't have the lumber of a Hurd or Willie Nelson he needs to get on him from here on out. Good shots to body from him. Harrison still stabbing the jabs and uppercuts late 6th. Close gritty round unfolding.
