Default Man Dies, Two Injured during Shooting at Ireland gym run by Katie Taylor's father

Pete Taylor is one of the three men who was shot during an incident at Bray Boxing Club on Tuesday morning.
Taylor, a boxing trainer, is the father of Irish Olympic gold medal fighter, Katie Taylor.
At approximately 6:55 am, a gunman fired shots inside the building which is in the harbour area of Bray.
One man, aged 30, died in the shooting. The other man shot is aged 35. Taylor and the 35-year-old were both taken to hospital.
The suspect subsequently left the scene in a silver Volkswagen Caddy bearing Northern Irish number plates.
There were a number of fighters training in the gym at the time.
On RTÉ Radio One's Today With Sean O'Rourke, Sunday World crime correspondent, Nicola Tallant, said that the man who died was not known to Gardaí.
Pete Taylor, who is a co-director of the club, established it in 1996. Along with Katie Taylor, Olympian Adam Nolan also trained at the gym.

Taylor was training three fighters from the MTK gym who have links with crime boss Daniel Kinahan

Pretty sure this will be to do with the ongoing gang war between the Hutch and Kinahan firms.

UK boxer shot in face with shotgun

London - A boxer had "half his face blown off" when he was blasted with a shotgun at point blank range, his family said last night.

Oluwafemi Omosuyi, known as Femi, was hit as he sat in a car just days after returning from a training camp. He is in a stable condition after emergency surgery.

His mother Stella Aladetam, 53, said last night: "He was in the operating theatre until about midnight. I was so panicked I couldn’t even eat, just panic and shock." The semi-professional fighter, 22 , who was stabbed last year, was said by friends to have got in with "the wrong crowd". He had been enjoying a thriving career – winning a fight last year in just 30 seconds. The heavyweight was based at All Stars Boxing Gym in West London, which describes him as ‘explosive’ in the ring.

The shooting took place at 8pm on Saturday outside Oliver Goldsmith Primary School in Peckham, South East London, attended by ten-year-old Damilola Taylor, who was fatally stabbed in 2000.
The Met police said no arrests have been made.

Just reading that Katie Taylor has been advised not to fight in her hometown of Dublin due to security risks so fuck knows what exactly her dad is mixed up in?

One line of inquiry police will investigate is whether the shooting is gang-related.

At least 15 people have died and at least 29 men have been told they are on deaths lists amid the feud between by rival gangs loyal to Christy Kinahan and Gerry Hutch, which began in 2015 after Hutch's nephew Gary was killed in Spain.
The feud grabbed international headlines after Hutch's men launched a revenge attack with gunmen dressed as police officers opening fire at a boxing weigh-in at the Regency Hotel in north Dublin in early 2016.
In today's attack, police believe the gunman, dressed in black, ran in through the door and fatally shot the man as he exercised on a training machine.
He is then said to have shot a second man, 35, wounding his severely in the leg.

MTK must be paying their boxers a lot to get them to sign with them.
