Errol Spence vs Mikey Garcia

No talk of the weigh in/presser? What do you all think, anything in it? Can’t post pictures on my damn tablet, but thought both guys looked about what you’d expect. Mikey a little soft and 145.5, he looked like he’d bulked up more in some training, but flexing in the right light will do that. Obviously he wasn’t going to win this fight by matching size and having a physique. People saying Spence looked drained, don’t buy it. He is ripped as hell and came in under at 146, but he looks totally fine in the face etc. Both guy seem confident, mutual respect the whole way through, I like it. The kind of fight where it’s a bit silly to even have things like face offs and stare downs and they both know it, hope that doesn’t translate to underwhelming buys, since it’s each guys first PPV headline(I think) and with neither guy being an assclown and all. Pumped for this, it’s one for the fans.

Spence should beat up the smaller Garcia, but Garcia is the better technical fighter. It all depends on how Garcia can take the punch and handle the pressure and added bulk. He is the one with all the questions to answer. I will support the underdog.

It's not quite the upset that Manny smashing Oscar was at this point in their careers if Mikey stops Spence or even beats him decisively but it will be an upset none the less and you have to give Garcia Kudos for stepping up. Still a very dangerous and difficult nights work for the bigger guy but Garcia has a chance to make a huge statement. Still think Spence stops him late on. Should be brilliant while it lasts.

Just saw two sports talking heads go on about "If Spence does not score the ko it will be Garcia out boxing him all night long" . What kinda loaded bs is that. I think people say such things because they don’t have they eye for quality. If you can’t see why, talk about what.

Supposedly Pacquiao is talking about fighting the winner of this. Maybe he would fight Garcia if he won, but no way he will fight Spence if he wins.

Something about boxing in USA I love. Fernando Garcia is boxing Marlon Olea right now on the Spence/Garcia undercard. A Mexican vs a Colombian. The opportunity is awesome and the disregard for nationality.(and as I type that I think “it’s probably for the Mexican demographic”, so jaded)
