When he did have time to prepare, he lost to Andy Vences, a fight he was winning until he quit jabbing. I expect that Oscar Tovar will be in the corner.

Chris Algieri is a tough cookie, he didn't get stopped by Pac or Khan but he did vs Spence.


Algieri is a big boy at welter 5'10 height 72" reach vs Angel who is listed 5'6 & 1/2 and has a listed 65" reach. It's a fight in Huntington, New York, Algieri is from Huntington, New York....I think Angel is in for his typical fight from what you say.

Algieri has been off over two years, I hope he is rusty. Angel has been fighting heavy since the Vences fight. He usually kept his day to day weight around 135.
