Flat Earthers Fear 2m Social Distancing Could Push Some People Over the Edge

Derek Fish, founder of The Global Society of Flat Earthers, released a statement today saying he fears social distancing could lead to ‘psychological issues’.
Fish, who claims the world is a flat disc and not a sphere, as scientists, astronomers, astrophysicists and astronauts have been insisting for centuries, said that two metre social distancing and self-isolation could ‘push some people over the edge’.
“Being alone and forced to avoid other people does strange things to the human brain,” Fish said after explaining that the world is covered by a huge dome-like ceiling called The Firmament and that the sun and moon revolve around the inside of this dome like ‘tennis balls in a bowl’...

I may be wrong but I think everyone being spaced out evenly would be good for the flat earth.

Maybe. I've given it a lot of thought. Just kidding of course it's not. that's just dumb.

Well if everyone gathered at one point near an edge I would think the flat earth could tip or wobble or something. Actually maybe the population was getting to close together and soft spots were developing, this whole wuhan thing may be to keep us at optimal balance for the flat earth. I guess we need to thank China they probably detected the soft spots first and thought of this whole thing.

That exact thing is why I always reposition the toppings on a frozen pizza before I put it in the oven. I need balance and no one likes a tilted pie. Works for tostadas too.

It really depends on the support points. If it's being supported by one single center point then yes..... spacing is crucial and must be evenly distributed.

If on the other hand there are multiple support points, then spacing is not that critical.

If the Earth was flat, we would still need to know the thickness of it. Is it thick like a magazine? Like a brick? Like a sheet of paper?
