When a lead to a story starts with "if its true" and then goes into calls for charges by sitting officials etc. to the point of the special council coming out to have say the story is not accurate...now that's irresponsible journalism and indeed 'fake'. But since then..crickets for the most part the last few days. Nothing to bolster the Administration or legitimately hold media responsible and get the story out. Why? Wait, they ran a story that was blatantly false and they knew it. They aired a completely fabricated story and the school got death threats and still they are saying the look the kid had on his face was an act of violence. I think you're missing my point. But its late now so I'll clarify tomorrow. But once again, for now, I'll just say that yes, the media reporting of the incident was atrocious and not befitting the title of 'journalism'.
