Hey I’m close to purchasing a Mercedes GLA sorry it has a bunch of numbers after it I’ll post it later as I don’t have them in front of me. It’s a AWD midsize SUV. It is a four cylinder but with a dual turbo charge it does 0-60 in 4.2 seconds.anyway I usually stay away from German cars due to the high upkeep but this thing is rated #1 or 2 in its class. I’m also not a big fan of turbo charges as they can cause problems and if they suck in a lot of water which is rare it completely ruins the engine. I think it’s the GLA 250 formatic but I will check that for you. Mercedes are one of the most expensive cars to maintain over ten years. Still it’s very highly rated. I just wanted to see if anyone here has experience with Mercedes and if they found them reliable. Ok it’s the gla-class 250 4matic, any feed back would be appreciated

What you want to know we are on our 5 consecative Mercedes.
To avoid expensive costs change the car every 3 years or take out extended warranty.

The car looks very nice and Mercedes is a top brand car which can be expensive to maintain.

Best thing to do is get as much free service and maintenance that you can get from the dealer but not necessarily do the work with them. Use a good local skilled and recommended mechanic who will do the job for half the price.

It is a big investment and I prefer middle of the range but high spec cars like Ford Edge.

We are on our 4th Merc. Nice looking cars, well built and with decent residual resale value.

Merc parts (in the US) can be expensive but there are lots of cheaper non Merc parts available if you want shoddy Korean bits in your car.
