Well, there you go. Feel out first, body shots and breakdown 2 and 3 and then 4th stoppage. All well and good, but GGG needs to step it up and get active. That's your warm up, now a big fight please.

I think so too, far too easy to hit. It is the same GGG, just a little older. Needs to fight a name now. Does not matter if it is Canelo to me as he has done it twice and we know GGG wins most of the rounds.

Agreed probably have him jump to Andrade and string it out. These type of matches can make you root for upsets .

That first looping left hook thingy to the top of head was awesome, normally I think it looks a bit silly but fuck me it paid off tonight.

    Good stuff.

Literally caved him in an aluminum can. Brutal shot.

Steve Rolls didnt seem right in there, I wonder if he had a panic attack in the dressing room.

    Kinda compact-choping shots. Very effective.
Wade, Brook, Jacobs, Alvarez, I'm pleased with his resume the past 4 or so years.

Murray, Ishida, Macklin, Monroe, Lemiuex weren't great picks but they all had winning records & were ranked.

Jacobs & Alvarez I think will be his career defining fights, 2 top tier guys.

That's exactly how you systematically break an opponent down.
Pound the body then go upstairs coming forward non stop.
    GGG is a Fucking terminator.
He clearly enjoys taking shots to land his own and has admitted it loads of times.
Love the way he turns his knuckles inwards for maximum power.
Would love to see him and Calum Smith go at it soon.

GGG did what he was supposed to do but didn’t look great. Maybe it’s age or maybe he just didn’t care as much about a fight like this. I think he legit loses if he fights Canelo again.

Finally watched the fight, and of course my feeling is f GGG. That mismatch was offensive and dangerous. I hope Rolls is okay going forward. F GGG and his handlers, they’re all disgusting

Like dog fighters training their dogs by taping other dogs mouths shut and sicking their dogs on them. Rolls is so clearly not that level. And now I listen to pro MMA guys “that right there is why boxing sucks”

Well, GGG came out more patiently than usual, but what struck me was how much more head movement ha had. Clearly partially due to his new trainer.

Once he had finished having a long look at Rolls, he just started to beat him up. Some of the body shots were tremendous, and he really does like that unusual twisting left hook to the top of his opponents head. I did notice he reverted back to having little head movement by the third.

I like watching GGG fight. Clearly, he is in the twilight of his career and is not going to get significantly better. I'm going to enjoy him while I can

Golovkin 'ready' for Canelo rematch after fourth-round KO

Former unified middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin insisted he is "ready" for a rematch with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez after making a devastating return to the ring in New York.

Fighting for the first time since losing his belts to Canelo in September last year, Golovkin knocked out the previously undefeated Steve Rolls in the fourth round on Saturday.

Golovkin showcased his devastating power at Madison Square Garden, where the Kazakh star floored Rolls (19-1, 10 KOs) in brutal fashion.

"I feel great," Golovkin told DAZN after kicking off his six-fight, three-year deal with the streaming service. "I feel like a new baby.

"Right now I feel completely different because I came back to my knockout. I love knockouts and I love New York. It was a great night all around."

Saturday ended a nine-month layoff for Golovkin (39-1-1, 35 KOs), who lost to Canelo in a gripping majority decision – his only professional defeat.

Golovkin lost his WBA and WBC titles after the pair's initial bout in September 2017 ended in a hotly disputed draw.

Asked who he wants next, Golovkin was emphatic in his response ahead of a potential GGG-Canelo trilogy.

"Everybody knows. The fans know who they want me to fight next," Golovkin said. "I'm ready for September. I'm ready for Canelo. Just bring him, just ask him. I'm ready. If you want big drama show, please tell him. I'm ready to bring back the big drama show."

"I believe, because this is boxing. This is boxing business. Why not? The next fight will be amazing for us," Golovkin added.

"I feel right now like the people's champ. It doesn't matter for me. I want to beat him but [the belts don't] matter. I'm the people's champion."

Very true Baal. Think that was a key factor and Canelo and Oscar wanting to keep him close and busy with non entities. I'll eat my shoe if they make #3 within a years time.
