Thanks miles haven’t heard that. I don’t buy music anymore I have that satellite radio in the car and have the Beatles channel so I get my daily fix of Beatles. Anyway for McCartney to still be pumping songs out is amazing. Same thing with Dylan. Dylan is like a fine wine his lyrics improve with age. Now the Stones, I love them. Seen them 3 or 4 times and they are probably one of the greatest live bands to grace the earth but they have become almost a stones cover band over the years. I hope mick does well with is heart surgery.

Now back to McCartney for a minute. When you listen to Oh darling or why don’t we do it in the road, you realize you are not listening to a voice, you are listening to a gift. What would music be like today if Lennon and McCartney didn’t meet. What if Paul was born in Liverpool and John was born in Rhode Island? And I’m not putting aside Harrison and Starr they were important but the mix of Lennon and McCartneys voice on songs like “if I fell in love with you” is something that can’t be adequately described in words. I think I’ve brought it up before but I am the 2,587th beatle
