Default Caleb Truax v Peter Quillin

Another card this time on Fox brought to us by PBC. They're labeling this an eliminator for ibf #1 168 spot but I find that a little nuts when you can't even find the one-man-wrecking crew that is David Benavidez in the top 10 of any single alphabet soup group. Seriously is that a misprint? Truax and Quillin are two guys trying to get a second or third shot at the age of 35 and it could turn into a decent enough scrap. Truax is off his real life Rocky story and is really one of the most down to Earth nicest dudes you'll see. I actually liked Quillin for a bit but once Danny Jacobs detonated him in microwave fashion he seemed to go into witness protection with only two meh fights up until now. This will actually be a good step up. I'd like to see Truax outwork him for a decision.

Sergiy Derevyanchenko and Jack Culcay square off for the #1 ibf 160 spot in the co main. It just occurred to me, Jacobs beat 3 out of 4 of these guys but I still think Derevyanchenko can be a major problem for anyone in the division.

Feckin Baseball . Looks like a network game rain delay. Top of the 7th with one out and in baseball this could be at least a 30 min to infinity hour delay . I just don't understand networks..espn, Fox, with multiple channels not moving an advertised LIVE event to a back up alternate channel so they can meet their programming. But it's boxing so they'll just shat on it. Not gonna bother looking for a stream

116-112 x2 and 115-113 Derevyanchenko once they made air. He looked roughed up by Culcay in last couple of rounds but put enough in the back early on.

Derevyanchenko didn’t look too impressive but won on my scorecard 115-113.

The main event was a huge letdown. Unfortunate ending with a no contest. Quillin actually looked pretty sharp so I feel bad for him.

They literally re played the last two rounds of Joeys fight on FS1 and inexplicably are airing main event at 12:30 AM now. Calling it "live" right now. The hell man!

Very odd end and lead to main event as far as network goes. Fight was over by time of "live" air and they went back to replay the so what walk out fight locally to fill the time.
