Saw Milliband on ITV today promoting this and he made some good points.

This a great local Charity I have done work for in the past based in Cornwall UK. They provide Shelter in the form of tents and kits to build durable shelters, water filters. solar lights, cooking kits, blankets etc. They were set up by a former Royal Navy rescue diver and provide very practical help and shelter kits for victims of Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Tsunami, Floods etc as well as supporting families on the ground in war zones where they have been forced to flee their homes.
Have a look even if you are not in a position to donate to see the very practical help they give to communities and individuals in great need around the world

That’s kind of like everyday in the US beanz.
Funny the semantics and definitions at times. I remember after Katrina standing in line in some tiny Podunk Florida town for batteries, water and a Red Cross plate and info. She yells 'is this all the refugees from N.O'. Actually surprised me. All we had to respond with was 'no refugees here we're survivors'.
Lauren Southern made an excellent documentary on this.
I think my personal solution would be send approximately 100% of them to Plymouth and make them happy and everyone in Plymouth happy.
Interesting points remember we let in some refugees about 20 years back Libyans if I am correct there offsprings carried out the Manchester bombings well so much for a good deeds.
Before we decide who we help the West must think long and hard.
I never give to any charities only local ones that I no.!
Disasters wars etc have gone on for years but with the power of media we hear about it with in minutes nothing changes.
If you want to help it's up to you were others are not really bothered.
