Default Josh Kelly v Conor Benn

Adam Booth has given it the thumbs up and it's an easy fight to make as both are Matchroom fighters.
Still not sold on Kelly so it's an interesting matchup.

    Booth -
"What we have here is an exciting young prospect who doesn't have the extensive amateur career, but is prepared to learn under the microscope, take the risk, and have these wild dust-ups with good fighters.

"In Josh Kelly you have someone with that amateur brain, someone with the skills and belief. We have the making of a sensational British match-up."

I'm not sold on Kelly either, especially after his last showing, but Benn is shite.

In Benn's last fight he was out classed in the first round quite embarassingly.

Conor found a big left hook to knock his opponent out in the second round but Kelly would be too good for Benn.

Yeah he was and he's way too hittable.

Has the son of a world class fighter ever become one himself? Just pondering, definitely cant think of one.

I actually did think of, and perhaps foolishly disregarded him. He might be the best example, which could cement my argument.

Kelly should give Robinson a rematch. Now we know why he avoided Avanesyan

Well I certainly relate To that. You had the unintended consequence of posting something of substance though, and that I can only dream of.

Chavez jr is literally the best example, right?

You are forgetting your favourite Eubank family.

Oh yes that is a good one too. Eubank jr didnt do as well vs Groves as Chavez did against Martinez though? Only time eubank jr fought a top guy, whereas chavez fought a few and at least hung in there.

Chavez was outboxed for 11 rounds by Martinez.

Yeah but he almost had him out of there in the last round, if it had gone another he would have. And like i said he fought a few other guys who were top class and was in the fights. Guess this depends on how good you feel Saunders is.
