I’m glad that two of Kovalev/Bivol/Gvozdyk/Beterbiev are finally fighting each other.
This is a good unification fight and I would support Beterbiev who is my favourite. Gvozdyk is impressive and Beterbiev has been put down recently so it is a tough fight for him but I am sure he can win.
Beterbiev to fight Gvozdyk in light-heavyweight unification
Russia's Artur Beterbiev is to fight Ukraine's Oleksandr Gvozdyk in a unification title bout at light heavyweight.
The Russian Boxing Federation, which organizes some pro fights, says IBF champion Beterbiev will fight WBC champ Gvozdyk Oct. 18 in the United States at a location yet to be confirmed.
Beterbiev beat Enrico Koelling for the IBF belt in 2017 and has since defended it against with knockouts of Callum Johnson and Radivoje Kaladzic. He's 14-0 and has never let a fight go to the judges.
The 17-0 Gvozdyk beat longtime WBC champ Adonis Stevenson last year and defended it in March when Doudou Ngumbu injured his leg during their bout.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Was excited about Beterbiev at one point, that was long ago though. I’ve never watched an entire Gvozdyk fight and broke him down but going by matchmaking I have to assume he is a solid favorite?
I think Gvozdyk is a favorite but he has shown to may not have the greatest chin. Beterbiev has shown to get a bit reckless at times. I think it’s a toss up fight. If Beterbiev stays composed, I think he can stop Gvozdyk. Gvozdyk is the better technical boxer and may be able to take advantage of holes in Beterbiev’s defense.
So if I had to put money on one, I would probably pick Gvozdyk, but I’m not confident in my pick
These are the types of fights that need to be made I like both fighters. Gvozdyk has a better recent flow with Beterbiev's pro career activity both can hurt each other Beterbiev gets him early to mid or Gvozdyk late or cards
