Is there anything more disgusting than an airplane toilet?
Pavlik just had a drinking problem to my knowledge, kind of unfair to the chap as plenty of people couldnt hit or taunt a woman regardless of how far down that rabbit hole they are, that kinda has to be there to begin with. I worked construction for a while and have done a fair bit of camping, outhouses are far, far more disgusting, airplane toilets would get cleaned after every flight, not that gross.
How about those portable bogs they use at festivals (same as the building site ones I think)? Not sure what they're like these days, but I entered one around 1993, to this day I have no idea why it had a toilet, might as well been a cupboard knee deep in shit, sick, piss and paper. I nearly cried.
I don't go to festivals, but I can imagine it being really bad too. I think shorter flights tend to be better as nobody needs the toilet so much. Not that many are taking a dump on a 1 hour flight from France. You get on a 12 hour non stop flight though and with people eating 3 meals and lining up every few hours it inevitably gets a bit messy in there. Yes, not so bad that there is excrement oozing down the cabin or anything, but unpleasant. Another bad place for toilets is in a club at 2am in the morning which ironically can seem like a long haul flight as the flight is full of booze and too many people. You inevitably find all kinds of tragedy in such places.

Back to boxing though. @p4pking Yes, I thought I remembered something about Pavlik injuring his hand in a drunken episode, but that might have been gossip rather than fact and even then is hurting nobody else. Sounds like something anybody could do really. I know he was arrested for some minor things, but I agree, he seems to have cleaned up well and seems to be handling himself very well these days. I read through this article and though he had issues, he was never a Tyson or Broner. They are better comparisons for what Kovalev seems to be like at the moment. It's a shame as he only has a few years at best and needs to get serious and think about a life after boxing too. It's the not planning for what comes next that really seems to have some boxers lost.
