I don't like women enjoying themselves at fights!

I don't know why? But I find it disturbing to see women at fights getting hyped up when a guy is getting beaten to near death.... especially white women when two black men or "minority" men are in the ring and one is getting it BADLY.

There is a bit of discomfort about it. Probably just an issue with the sexes, but I get a cold eerie chill about it.


Then when one gets his block knocked off, they put their hands over their mouth but just a minute ago you were cheering with wide smiles and hollering your ass off...

I remember watching some amateur boxing about 13 years back this lad got sparked.
Shit there was hell to pay mother girlfriend got in the ring attacking the winner.
Theses two fighters had meet on three separate occasions with the victim winner of all three fights.
This time he was sparked buy one of the best left hook Ko I have ever seen.🙂

My girlfriend loves watching big fights and I know plenty of other girls who are the same.
Women are always at fights and Boxing has always attracted them, its a glamour thing where they can get dressed up etc.

Actually... talking about women at boxing events.... you see these grainy black and white vids of old fights where it was wall to wall fedoras and smoke filled arenas. Not a woman to be seen. Yet today women make up a great part of boxing fandom. Personally, I've been lucky enough to attend many a boxing event and it's an added bonus to see the women in all their get-up attend these fights. Sure... some of them are there to be seen, even more than to watch the boxing... but there are a lot of female boxing fans.

In ykda's defense, I think he was just trying to make the distinction about women cheering the boxers on, and the ones who can't bear to watch a gruesome ending. But it's a fact that some women (probably some men too) love boxing, but are a bit squeamish about blood or cover their faces upon a brutal knockout. It's not the contradiction you'd think, ykda. They enjoy the sport.... they enjoy the atmosphere... it's just in their nature (sometimes) that if it gets too bloody or there's a brutal beating going on... they tend to recoil a bit at that part of it.

Frankly, it had to be boring as all hell to sit in one of those grainy black and white arenas with all that smoke in your face and nothing but a sea of guys in their hats.
