Fury will be the first to quit boxing. Wilder and Josh'll be around much longer.

If I were AJ, I would just push for the Wilder fight. I think he loses, but I also think that if he has to fight Usyk, he has a strong chance of losing also. If that happens, he loses even more money.

But I honestly think that Wilder would be more than willing to fight AJ right now because he sees weakness and doubt. I can’t see AJ being mentally prepared for Wilder.

Just watched a few rounds, don’t think I need to watch it all. Joshua did what he had to, made the adjustments he had to, more power to him.
Ruiz, well, inexcusable really. But you can’t blame Joshua for that. Massive disappointment for me. And to ask for a 3rd fight..... fuck off will ya. They should say to him, right if you come in at 260lbs or less, you get your full purse. If you come in over that, you get £20!
But that’ll only waste 6 months of AJ’s time cos he’ll pull out.
All these people saying “AJ is a coward” and “he just got on his bike”, have a fucking word with yourselves. This is fucking Boxing, it’s an art. If you don’t like it, don’t watch.
But guess what? Loads DO WATCH! And that’s why he earns the big money.
So let’s address AJ’s “mental state” if they say “AJ , for this fight , you have to be 265lbs , guess what? On the money. Or “AJ, you need to come in light, 245lbs, bang, he’s on it. Tell me another HW capable of that?
Focused for 12 rounds. It’s not like he hasn’t proved he can knock people out is it?

The only mistake Ruiz made was allowing that ring to be so big.
As the champ I would have ensured it was 16-18 feet rather than the ridiculous 22 feet.
It was basically a cycle track!!!

    Precisely

    They gave him the Shanghai

If that was a 16 or 18 ft ring he would have knocked out Joshua very fast

Fans really don't care what the Saudis put up. The fight was going to happen with or without them and you and I won't see a dime of it.

Right. Fair enough on that for sure but what a disgrace of a performance by Andy Ruiz after that big production over there in Riyadh

Would not have made any difference Ruiz was in no fit state to catch AJ. He was fighting in slow motion, he made AJ look like Muhammad Ali in that ring.

Good performance from AJ, really enjoyed watching that unfold. I know there are lots of boy's and girls out there in boxing expert World that have gone and got their knickers in a twist because AJ didn't fight the fight they wanted him to fight, the fight that greatly increases his chances of losing, but stop being silly boys and girls. Good jab, good movement and mobility, boxed the way he was told to box and won the fight with ease. If Joshua doesn't take the immediate rematch and Fury steps in and does that it's a masterpiece, further proof that Joshua is a dud, and that Fury is the best thing since sliced bread. The first round was quite telling, Joshua dropped the right hand in, cut Ruiz and wobbled him for a moment, went for the follow up and took a left hook. An immediate reminder of the danger Ruiz presented.

Would have liked to have seen him go to the body a bit more like he did against Povetkin, open up the right hand upstairs a bit more but meh, small details.

I still think Joshua Wilder is a 50/50. A bit of a shift lately towards Wilder because no mater what happens the fucker always gets the job done and if he detonates a right hand bazooka on Joshua he's going to know about it. I still think Joshua beats Fury for the same reasons. Joshua wont be as confused by Fury as Wilder was and he'll have more success earlier in the fight.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

We need a fight for all the belts this year.
Big talk already about AJ fighting a Tottenhams new stadium in March/April.
Joshua needs to face his Mandatory, win it then fight the winner of Fury v Wilder.
Don't get how anyone can slate Josh for Saturday's performance, he boxed an almost perfect fight and made it look easy.
Light on his feet all night, no signs of stamina issues and the jab was pumping solidly all night.
    Top performance from AJ.
