I do like the options now. Just feels fluid again barring another 2 years of Wilder and Joshua having pissing contests over twitter. Hate to say but once we saw Ruiz come in wearing a flyweights leg in additional weight we knew he wasn't focused on the long game. AJ will probably do a domestic low risk, but I'd love him to come to the States again.

Joshua stuck to his game plan and got the job done. It was a decent performance coming off a stoppage loss. Ruiz was completely outclassed.

Ruiz should be ashamed of himself for even suggesting a third fight. What a joke. What was wrong with the second fight? Why should he get a third fight?

But Anthony Joshua? Anybody who thinks that was a good performance is on LSD
Hard to admit when we get something so big so wrong huh . I heard that after taking acid 7 times you can be deemed permanently affected aka mildly tripping balls so yeh there's that.

@Spicoli not hard for me to admit at all that Ruiz came in probably close to 300 pounds like a big fat pig and if you wanted to prove that the first fight was no fluke he certainly shot himself in the foot. Not hard for me to admit that I thought you would do a better job than that although to his credit he pressured the fight for the whole 12 rounds and never took a step back. Not hard for me to admit that at all

But it's definitely not hard to admit that Anthony Joshua sucks

Well he did win and is the man with the future in the mix sooo yeh. AJ had me wanting my pillow for a few rounds but he did what many a fighter cannot or will not, he adjusted and improved. Credit where credit is due and all that jazz.

Josh fought the perfect fight... reminded me of Lennox Lewis in there tonight.

I'd expect to see Joshua face Pulev next. Should be another confidence builder.

Ruined? Ha! He can fight who he likes. At least you gave him some credit.
Did he seem like a confident guy to you? A pair of jeans with a stain can cover your legs(comparable to winning) but theyā€™re not what they were.(ruined)
Of course not he was fighting the bogeyman that smashed his castle. It doesn' t mean he is 'ruined', ha! The clowns writing off Joshua are all a bit lame tbh. A pair of jeans are not even worth wearing until they are patched to within an inch of their life. What happened to character? Lol
So you agree his is changed yet ignore my first post WHICH IS QUOTED IN THIS CONVERSATION ā€œAJ clearly has no confidence(you have agreed), hopefully this win helps that but he really just seems ruinedā€. Seems, not is, seems. You donā€™t disagree that that is how he looks. You project that that will change. There is no evidence that will change, I donā€™t even argue that he could not change. I only speak on what has been seen. But you disagree because I havenā€™t projected what I canā€™t know and you canā€™t either and you feel the need to bolster your projection by condescending. And let me guess, Iā€™m being the dick by pointing out the condescending hahahahahahaha bizarro world.

I spoke on what we have seen, I projected nothing, assumed nothing. How very biased of me(now I will condescend back since this is the only way to communicate)

Honestly, I think this shows that Ruiz really isnā€™t that good. I mean Ruiz is supposed to be a boxer. He isnā€™t a slugger. He just got completely outboxed by a guy who is much more of a puncher. Not saying that AJ is garbage at boxing, but try to do that against Fury and he loses every single round easily.

The HW division is generally weak and still is. I think itā€™s better than the Klitschko era for sure, but not one fighter is great. AJ has generally done what he has needed to, but now I definitely pick Fury and Wilder over him. Whereas before I thought a fight with Wilder was more of a pickem fight.
