It's the fact he showed disrespect for the sport and title.
you took the words right out of my mouth. Remember how Lennox Lewis got revenge against hasim Rahman by knocking him into next year in the rematch? Well Anthony Joshua sure didn't get that satisfaction and didn't even want to take the chance to do it. I guess Lennox Lewis forgot about that

Ruiz got very lucky winning the first fight. There is no way he deserve a 3rd fight because he did not bother training adequately for the rematch. Why should he get another opportunity for a title fight?
    Ruiz got very lucky?

Ruiz survived an early knock down, took all AJ’s best shots, then knocked AJ down 4 times and got a devastating KO win. He used speed and power to defeat a guy that many think is the current greatest heavyweight.

    I don’t see the luck.

The rubber match should happen because you should give the former champion a chance to regain the lost title. It’s the gentlemanly thing to do.

Yeh. After all... Ruiz was blindsided by the rematch and was totally caught off guard regarding his condition. Nor did he have any boxing history to fall back on, since there's never been a long shot heavyweight challenger win the heavyweight championship, only to come back in his next fight fat as shit and have it all crumble to the ground. Someone should've warned him that this could happen to him.

What we do know is Andy Ruiz Jr. is a nice guy. He’s a family man. So giving him such a hard time when he’s already dealing with a shattering fall from grace is downright disgusting. Those experienced in the sport should know better. We should allow Andy to come to terms with the swift and honest end of his Cinderella story before passing such judgment. I, for one, have no doubts Andy will be back.

That's all well and good. He still didn't do what he had to do in order to earn a rubber match.

Revisiting this fight, I honestly can't believe some people fell for this shit.............

It was either the biggest con job in the history of boxing, or it was the biggest weight yo-yo'ing in the history of boxing.

It wasn't #2, so basically some people got f*cking fooled into thinking that Ruiz was actually losing weight.
