It is way beyond a cluster fuck now. No coherent strategy, no leadership, a wasted opportunity after lockdown to install a track and trace system that could actually help.

Contracts given secretly to friends and businesses with terrible records, serco, deloitte etc rather than established labs, the NHS and other state bodies.

Exasperating things by creating a 10pm curfew bottleneck and sending millions back to schools and universities without any proper planning.

Johnson is not fit for purpose. A bumbling, incoherent, waffling shite straw filled blancmange, all bluster and no content. No empathy, no common sense. He is like Trump, a dangerous narcassist. Both idealogues who have filled not just the toxic swamps of Westminster and Washington like never before, they have stoked divisions across the countries and they have the blood of thousands on their hands.

He might as well of, the twat has been most conspicuous by his absence. He simply does not have the appetite for the grind. Doesn't turn up for Cobra meetings, fails miserably at PM's questions, has to ask unelected Cummings everything, runs away and can't even make it to the end of a sentence before becoming completely incoherent.

    £7000 a day?

    Fucking hell, that is mental.

As Bryant’s comments rang around the House of Commons it was revealed that private sector consultants are being paid around £7,000 a day by the Government to try and help run the test and trace system.
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) was paid about £10 million for around 40 consultants to provide four months’ work between the end of April and late August, according to Sky News.

Johnson has always treated people with contempt it should come as no surprise that he is more than willing to drive people further into poverty and yet line the pockets of his friends. So many voted for him after such a history of lying and bullshit and now they have outlasted their usefulness to him. No different to Trump.

Crazy that a system clearly not fit for purpose is actually becoming less efficient. At a time infections are rising for testing times to increase and contact rates to fall is damning.

    Where is he?

Nasty bastards who would rather dig their heels in than admit they made a mistake. Even if it means British kids going hungry.

    Indefensible madness.

Not wishing to stir up a hornets nest, but why wasn’t this a problem 2 months ago? Only since Rashford got involved (who I admire greatly for caring as much as he clearly does.), has anyone even thought about it.
Now all of a sudden it’s a disgrace we’re not feeding poor kids in the holidays.
Nobody wants to see any child go hungry, and it is the government’s problem. But my solution is very different.
If you feed the kids, all it does is absolve the shit parents from doing what they rightfully should.
I think there are more shit parents , that would rather spend their money on Crack than their kids, than there is actual poverty. There is a difference.
Stiffer sentences for people that neglect their kids is a better solution.
And long term, I reckon as soon as somebody becomes pregnant, both prospective parents should have to pass a capability test before they are 16 weeks pregnant otherwise they sign the child away or have it aborted and done for manslaughter.
I’m as horrified by the lack of love that these kids are getting as much as by the lack of food!
