For sake of elimination in a live division, I can't see Bivol topping this Beterbiev.

Bivol v beterbiev would be interesting... Maybe.. Bivol may infact be too small for beterbiev but he'd jab him well and move better than the dum dum nail, this git cost me five quid! Well really it was my bad betting decisions but easier to blame someone else. Anyway Bivol is quick and beterbiev is an offensive monster. Would either be a great fight or a total mismatch.... An d of course it won't happen due to networks and promoters...

Good job by beterbiev well done to him.

Agreed, I also don't see Canelo even picking up the phone call from team Beterbiev.

Gvozdyk can still return from this set back.

I agree. At least Gvozdyk showed no fear in putting his "0" up on the table. The way it should be done. None of this pussyfooting around, picking and choosing. You fight the best and let the accolades come on their own. Well done.

Easy win in the end for Berterbiev.

@TitoFan you got it wrong and it sounded like a good fight. Good read.

I suck at predicting fights. Although on the other hand, I didn't do too shabby in Alpha's prediction contest last year.

Great fight. Gvozdyk is a very good boxer with some good power, but his chin isn’t made of granite. Beterbiev was just tougher.

Beterbiev is now the man to beat in the division and I’m not sure who is going to do it. Bivol is a good boxer but is a bit small and Kovalev could not have taken those body shots. Even if Canelo beats Kovalev, there is no way that he would fight Beterbiev.

I would love Canelo to fight him if he beats Kov.

He won't. (Fight Beterbiev, I mean).

Yeh I can't see Canelo staying in the neighborhood to face Beterbiev. Bivol would be a top fight but can't see him staying in doing enough to deter him. And no disrespect to Bivol but their recent approach and attitudes seem completely opposite. The compact hand speed of Betebiev was a bit surprising and looks the real deal.

Gvozdyk was a good solid fighter and Beterbiev just flat out beat him. Gvozdyk won some rounds, but Beterbiev showed that he was just better.

I think most had this fight close to 50/50 going in.
