15-6 now
We have no answer when it comes to scrums.
Slade on for Ford
Better 9-15
12-18
First try and one that puts the first nail in our coffin SA lead now 25-12
32-12. We were hammered.
Springboks went back to their traditional game, and just pulverised England up front. Massive pack used as a battering ram, just beat England up all over the pitch

Well it was better than finishing 4th.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Oh, I wasn't being negative about England. They have had a very good World Cup, were one of the outstanding teams and completely deserved to be in the final. Their performance against New Zealand was the best showing by any of the teams in any of the games.
I was being complimentary towards the Springboks. They absolutely turned up, their gigantic pack was awesome and they bullied and beat England up (and England are themselves a big physical team who seldom get bullied)
Ive watched every single game of this world cup
Wales never quite hit the heights performance-wise, but were tough, organised and very very hard to beat. There has NEVER been a World Cup where we fully expected to beat Australia and make the semi finals, and that was the case this time. We did well, but ended up carrying too many injuries in the squad. As a small country, we simply don't have the depth of player base to get through a long gruelling tournament like this. Our first team is as competitive as anybody in the world, but our second is not.
i fancied our chances against England if we had beaten the Boks, as we are not frightened of England and have beaten them a lot of times recently. The South Africa game could easily have gone either way .... but it was brutal and we had lots more injuries after the game. The final might well have been a game too far for us with all our injuries - just as the 3rd place playoff was.

Congratulations to South African Champion team
