Default In what round will Ruiz stop Joshua?

If history is any kinds of the lessons, Ruiz will stop Joshua even quicker than the first time.

Joshua did not get knocked out because he was less of a boxer and he certainly did not get out knocked out because he hit any less hard than Ruiz

Joshua will always lose to Ruiz. Ruiz is just the wrong fighter for Joshua's style. Ruiz has better hand speed than the slow robotic Joshua who quite reminds us all of Frank Bruno does he not?

in that kind of a match up a junkyard dog like Ruiz will always win a fight against a predictable behemoth who looks and fights like a robot. Who's willingness to take punishment is in question. Who desire to continue fighting actually is in question

Ruiz is surely a junkyard dog. And in life a junkyard dog usually beats the refined polished kind of textbook approach. That goes for all walks of life including street life and life in the office and politics as well.

It took Ruiz eight rounds to stop Joshua last time.

It will take him no more than five this time

Ruiz hasn’t shown much versatility. If AJ uses feints to get Andy to initiate he can drop the necessary bomb to get Andy out of there. If Andy gets AJ to lead he’ll probably get AJ out of there. Having said these things I expect a boring fight with both trying to trip the other up. As usual, hoping to be wrong.

I expect Joshua to fight gun shy and stick behind the jab and go for the UD without engaging in close. And I can't blame him for taking that strategy if he does as he must win.

If he can keep his head and stick to that strategy he could do it. However with so much at stake and the pressure on him in what will be a bizarre atmosphere for both fighters I expect some kind of exchange around the 5th when Ruiz will have him in trouble again.

I have the right to change my view before fight night

If Joshua isn't 100 percent mentally there on the night he loses.

I remember Lewis in his dressing room before the Rahman rematch. As calm and collected as you will ever see.

    Joshua ain't Lennox
