How long has this guy got left?
Why didn’t he fight BJS?
Why didn’t he move up in weight?
Is he really still unbeaten?
Where do you rate GGG in the history of middleweight champions?

Golovkin is clearly on the downside of his career. How long he has left is anybody's guess. He's certainly not the fighter he was 5 or 6 years ago.
No idea why he didn't fight BJS or anybody else he "didn't fight" for that matter. There are many fighters whose paths never cross, and it's not always due to "ducking."
No fighter should HAVE to move in weight. If you feel comfortable at one weight and want to dominate there, you should be allowed to. I don't get this insistence from fans that fighters must move up.
Well...... no actually. He officially lost to Canelo, didn't he? Lousy decisions or not, he got a draw in the first one, and got shafted in the second one.
His stock went down after the Canelo series. He fought the completely wrong fight the second time around. Gave Canelo too much respect, when he should've pressed the action and put Ginger in some trouble. He's up there among the great MW champions, but his legacy suffered when he became enamored/fixated on Canelo and forgot to keep building his legacy.
The last fight was the closest yet for me, but he really messed up with the Canelo situation. When you have won convincingly and got a draw, you know the fix is in and might as well move on from that. Many of us were suggesting as much at the time and then Canelo was found to have been cheating too. GGG had the moral upper hand and a clear win and owed Canelo nothing, yet he waited it out whilst ignoring anything else around him.
There are several fights GGG could have made in the meantime and though not at his best cemented his legacy further as he is still strong. Now he is getting closer to 40 and this is when a fighter typically does decline if not sensible enough to call it a day.
It is what it is, but GGG could have done more over the past few years.
GGG is naturally showing signs of age and is slowing down but with the right matches could go on for a few more years at the world class level.
BJS blew his chance by taking PED and making stupid videos.
GGG is naturally a small middleweight and has not fought out of that division for a competitive bout. It was the right business decision to stay at the weight where he was the undisputed champion.
Yes GGG is really still unbeaten and will never get a decision over Canelo so it is best to let that ship sail. Unify the titles again.
GGG had a record number of defenses so is up there in the history of middleweight champions but did not have the classic competition and bouts that people will remember him.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
