That's one of the worst shirts I've ever seen. Like the wallpaper in a 1970s Indian restaurant.

The wild man could repeat his last outing with Kong if Ortiz stays on the end of his reach and doesn't park himself inside the wild man's wild swings. Wilder has a tendency to be off balance and Ortiz could connect if he stays busy with a jab and not back up and stay on Wilder's Chest but the favorite remains the champ for now.

I don't know who dresses Wilder but they need to stop shopping in the Danny Garcia department.

I've tried but I cannot see Ortiz holding up once forced into a firefight. Could very well see a battle of the jabs early on but Wilder will land those half axe handle- half flying discus right-lefts and the legs of Ortiz turn to jelly. Ortiz needs to think, Wilder needs to land. If Ortiz pulls it off I'll be deafening the neighbors though

I agree. I can see Ortiz boxing early and maybe even winning rounds that way, but he knows Wilder will come in weird and maybe that will make him tentative too having been stopped already. Plus he does look very old. It is hard to come back from a knock out, but Wilder can be damn sloppy and get caught himself. I am just hoping for a good fight.

Going by the last fight it should be 50-50ish not Wilder a foregone conclusion, the geriatric was schooling him and came within a fag paper of a 7th round stoppage before he started coughing up dust.

However, even with the mexican meat and werthers it wouldn't be happening if the Atomic Windmill wasn't expected to blow him out.

They're definitely not expecting Ortiz to be as much of a threat this time.Wilder and his people are hoping for another highlight reel knockout and they could be right. I'd love to see him walk into something like Joshua did though.

Nearly 2.5 million people tuned in for the last pre-fight show, that would suggest a few things

1)Wilder’s star continues to grow for making such fights

2)people don’t see it as the whitewash fans do

Deontay Wilder sends a warning to Tyson Fury’s trainer ahead of Luis Ortiz rematch in Las Vegas

Deontay Wilder has sent a warning to Tyson Fury’s trainer Ben Davision ahead of his world heavyweight title rematch with Luis Ortiz.

The ‘Bronze Bomber’ puts his prestigious WBC belt on the line this Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Eighteen months after their first clash, Wilder and Ortiz will once again both horns as both men seek to right what they perceive to be the wrongs from the first fight.

The Cuban had Wilder hurt badly in the seventh round of the contest, while the Alabama-native believes he can end the contest more convincingly.

Provided he can emerge victorious, another rematch presumably awaits.

Tyson Fury shed 10 stone last December and seemed on course to dethrone Wilder in Los Angeles, but there was to be no Christmas miracle for the ‘Gypsy King’ as the bout was scored a controversial split decision draw.

Fury told talkSPORT a deal has been agreed for the duo to meet again in February 2020, despite the grotesque cuts he picked up against Otto Wallin.

And in preparation of the potential sequel, trainer Ben Davison will be in attendance to watch Wilder.

Upon the hearing the news, the unbeaten heavyweight king had a simple message for the 25-year-old.

“Take as many notes as you want,” he told Fight Hype. “Because you’re going to need it.”

Despite what’s at stake, Fury won’t be at the MGM Grand to watch how it plays out.

The Brit has been carrying out a number of promotional duties for his new book and Christmas single with Robbie Williams, while he’s also been making appearances in the WWE.

And he will be at home resting up, with trainer Ben Davison instead keeping a close eye on Wilder vs Ortiz.

“No. He’s having a well-earned bit of rest now,” Davison told Boxing Social when asked whether Fury will attend the fight.

if ortiz bombs wilder out he should admit his real age and make history as the worlds oldest heavyweight champ

I agree that this fight isn’t a foregone conclusion, but Wilder is taking this fight by his own choosing. That usually means that he is very confident in his chances.
