Will have a look at this later but know GMan losing against Benn seem to effect the mentality of Roy Jones. Almost fearing the same could happen to him even more than he normally would.
I could see Jones being knocked out but at that time Roy was untouchable so it would have been highly unlikely.

That's a rough watch. If I've ever had a love-hate relationship with any fight then that's the one. Was never aware of any close deal to a Jones Jr v McClellan showdown as it was said they were close friends and honestly Jones Jr had little incentive to go after bigger threats because he had a record contract with HBO to dispose of rotating mandatories with little to no hope around 168. Had Gerald emerged victorious over Benn it's clear he was wearing damage probably back to the Julian Jackson I fight and was known to blow up between fights. He wasn't just going up in weight he was going way up in opposition with Jackson and Benn and Roy was yet another cut above. Wouldn't have been shocked to see Roy keep him repositioning and unable to set all fight and scoring a sudden KO midway. If only Gerald had the opportunity for nothing else but to leave the sport whole, damn tragedy that night. It really did leave effects on both Benn and Jones in the aftermath.
Benn was 5 years older and injured going into that fight...crazy.
Is there any rule in boxing in regards to how low you can duck/slip when avoiding punches..Benn goes super low.
