It probably is in Wilders interest to take the step aside money, recover from the beating and take on the winner Fury/AJ.

Bet he won't but she should.

I actually agree with this. He could still get the Fury fight while getting more money by not fighting. He could have a tune up in between and just fight some low level fighter to make him look impressive.

An immediate rematch isn’t a smart move.

Turns out the fight sold 750000-800000 PPVs. They expected two million what with the massive advertising campaign on ESPN and Fox. Break even was apparently around 1.1 million buys so the people who put the money up lost $10-15 million. That would be Arum and Warren and Haymon. Not sure if they share those losses with the networks that carried it, it depends on how they did the original deal.

They'll be keen as hell to make the next fight in Saudi. If that four hundred million is accurate then no way the fight goes anywhere else. Saudi overpaying massively to try and sportswash their minging regime. And that's pounds sterling too, not dollars.

Yes I agree also , I think fury retires win or lose against Joshua.

    There you have it.

Wilder takes step aside money (agree it's the wise choice while Wilder gets his bearings back together with a tuneup)....... but then Fury wins and retires, and Wilder is left with that last beating without having gotten a chance to avenge it.

If Joshua beats Fury, absolutely NO guarantee whatsoever he and Wilder will EVER meet. If Joshua was making ridiculous offers to Wilder before, imagine how they'll be if AJ beats Fury and Wilder wants him next.

    Wilder's f*cked no matter what.

For me Wilder has burned that bridge of respect he may have earned standing up to such a beating with all the tin foil hat nonsense he’s been throwing around in the aftermath. My leg, my ear my wardrobe. Come on man, man up and own the L. We all saw this coming in many ways, maybe not to Fury assuming his previous styles etc but the glass bubble of powerhouse “I’d beat Tyson” and I want to catch a body is shattered and vulnerability has sat in.
