I'd like to hear him say it myself.

Most hazardous job in the world would be interviewing Wilder and having him spring that on you.

How you react as a journalist in the following seconds could have an effect on your immediate well-being.

Meaning an unconscious guffaw could cost you dearly.

Have to imagine it's from a spaghetti thrown at the wall list circulating among his team. After a public drubbing on that scale it's fair to give a guy a window to let the dust settle and at least get the feeling back in his neck, take it all with a grain of salt. A lot of talk on physical changes and his in ring future but this is equally character defining and how he goes forward mentally.

Let’s go ahead and say this is a legitimate excuse. It really did affect Wilder and his legs. If true, this makes him and his team look extremely stupid. A fight of this magnitude and you decide to put on a heavy uniform without understanding how heavy it is?

Reminds me of the time I entered a swimming race and strapped a bowling ball to my leg. Was a dumb idea in hindsight.

Yep this just shows how stupid him and his team are.

But if he wants that next pay day and can get a rematch then he's got to spout such bull shit to give it some validity.

He won't be able to mouth off in the build up like before as he's taken a beating so fury will fuck his head up even more.

He's asking for another 36 minutes to land his bomb. That's his only chance and him and everyone knows it.

Probably only way he doesn't do it is with a good step aside offer.

I noticed after the fight when they were being interviewed in the ring. Wilder said he had problems leading up to the fight. The exact same statement he made after the first fury fight..the guy is full of shit!

The excuses are peculiar. The club on the ear was rough and would explain balance and leg dragging, but he said the leg was a problem before the fight, then because of the costume. He doesn't seem to be thinking straight. Why could he not have worn a gown or a vest? The fight is the entertainment, Deontay.

It was having to carry all those Duracell batteries all the way from his dressing room to the ring. That outfit weighed as much as forty pounds! Ffs. Fury's head weighs forty pounds. Add on the rest of him and you're looking at about nineteen stone even if he had a few pounds in his pockets when he weighed in. If you can't handle carrying forty pounds for a few minutes how the fuck are you going to deal with nineteen stones of Pikey? It's got to be the most ridiculous excuse ever. He's going to take the rematch and get his arse handed to him again and I can't wait to see it now.
