It is a crazy world. This is the same Government who insisted that the over sixties were fit to be out in the fields picking fruit now classing them as vulnerable and telling them they should not leave home for at least 4 months. It is scary because Johnson and his rabble are basically suggesting that half a million dead Brits is better then testing people and putting money into the NHS. The scientists are saying that the herd immunity bullshit is not going to work, but the Tories have a yes man pandering to Johnson, like the yes man overseas pander to Trump and his ego. The Tories will be quite happy to see the elderly, sick and disabled wiped out so that they can pump millions into private healthcare at our expense.

I know my old man and the Mrs mother will be the last people to want to stay in for four months, despite having loads of health problems that will make them at a greater risk if they catch anything. It is also all very well telling people to work from home if they can, but that is impossible for so many. I have caught something after having the grandkids on Firday (not Coroana virus) but don't really have the luxury of staying in. The Mrs needs her medication and the pharmacy are insisting that our new Doctors (last surgery was closed down by NHS England) will not honour previous repeat prescriptions, so will probably have to go in and make an appointment to get her epilepsy meds. Nuts.

But yes. Check on your neighbours and don't be a dick at the supermarket clearing the shelves when one or two of something is enough to last you weeks anyway.

Anyone visiting the elderly need to clean their hands and not come to them with colds and germs.

Look out for your elderly loved ones.

Shopping yesterday people were kind and considerate. Hopefully it will stay that way.

It is a bit loony. The supermarkets are loving this and will make a huge profit but imagine being the trolley boy or serving people at the baccy counter all day, loads of grubby hands and chances of being infected coming your way. You need to look after yourself too mate, if they do not get on top of it, you will be busy.

We are a bit worried about the wedding in a few months being called off, the insurance does not cover things like this and my Dad may not travel down being over 70 with a lot of health issues.

You can easily ask for a month of meds and that will tide you through the worst. It seems like hell, but you will get through. Also for food stuff, forget the supermarkets and order online. It is what we do and that way you have bulk at your doorstep and cheaper too. Powdered nutrition is great at times like this. Masks are still rationed, but I keep my Hannibal Lector one as a spare.

Ordering online has gone to pot in this country, most supermarkets have completely stopped offering slots, they're booked up for a month. I rely on home deliveries, no skipping to the shops for me, luckily being an ocd cunt I buy everything in threes - toothpaste, bog roll, handwash, bovril, oxtail soup, etc.

I hope all the greedy panic buying cunts catch this shit. Watching the videos of them fighting over the goods without a care in the world for the dinosaurs and disabled makes me sick.

It is silly. You should always be tidied over for a rainy day regardless, but people are full of fear porn. It isn't helped when the likes of Merkel go full on Greta with something like 70-80% will be infected. Eh? No, they most likely won't. So, people have gone mad. When it starts to pass and nobody they know got it they will feel silly. And have a lot of toilet paper. You should have a months wages to tide you over really.

I have a lot of toilet paper. I always do though as you buy it more cheaply online and might as well have it. I have a bidet but never use it. I am still English and wipe my own arse and have of course always washed my hands. So many don't as I observe at service station toilets. One day I will compile data on this, but I would guess 75% of men do not wash their hands after handling dick or arse.

Old people will be fine. They can read, play PS4 games, or just get drunk. Look, if God came down and said 'Let's shake on this. Dead at 81, no ifs or buts, or your choice of a lottery above or below that. Your pick, boy' My freshly cleaned hand would of course take the 81 and shake his/her/its hand (pronoun limit). It is a great innings.
