I could do with a bit of lockdown, maybe tomorrow I'll fake coughing at work so I can go home. Much too old for 4 70 plus hour weeks in a row.

Honestly thought that all day myself . Feel bad for the workers and businesses taking hits and losing jobs, but on the other end this 'essential' anchor is a double edge sword. We're down to crew of 7 or 8 and 3 times the normal workload now. All the overflow from other closed places. I don't miss work days, just don't. Haven't called in same-day sick in literally more than a decade. But shit man, I want me some days where my only concern is getting from bed to the desk or couch too .

So first night back in the facility for me last night. I was concerned as mental health clients, in many cases, donā€™t care about social distancing etc. anyway find they quarantined the whole place. I felt bad for the guys and girls but itā€™s probably the best way to handle the situation for them at the minute. No one can leave. This alleviates some concerns I had. Certainly not fool proof we still let a few people work but if they have nothing to do they stay in the facility 24/7 and thatā€™s probably 90% of the population. We have a girl refusing to work during this wuhan time I wonā€™t judge her I understand her concerns we also must have a temp taken before entering building and one worker wasnā€™t allowed in as she was running a fever. Itā€™s a little hairy, I talked to the MD about precautions I can take they seem reasonable but he stressed taking it seriously. Itā€™s difficult to wear a mask the entire shift I need to talk to 40 people and use an intercom. Iā€™ll figure it out I need to stick with it when you walk into a building like this and a bunch of people going through some horrible stuff are happy to see you I couldnā€™t walk away now. We are all taking risks, itā€™s just what it is now. I need to break out some magic tonight, a couple nice card tricks etc. I think all of us here will be ok, or so I hope, for all. Stay well everyone, no matter what you got going on I got 40 people who Iā€™m pretty sure have us all beat.
