So can great fighters make great trainers? Or does the very same thing that makes those great fighters stand out among their peers also hold them back as trainers. You can coach so far and then it is down to the fighter to apply that, but i am not sure you can teach those things that make the great stand out from the very good. I know it is nowhere near analogous but in team sports like football (Soccer) it is often the not so great players that end up being outstanding coaches and manaagers. Maybe precisely because they were not blessed with that extra innate bonus, that separates the good from the brilliant.
