RIP to The Stranglers Dave Greenfield

The keyboard player is not the first thing you think of when you are talking about Punk Rock bands. As huge a part as John Jaques Burnel's unique bass playing was and Hugh Cornwell's clever lyrics were, it is also true that Dave Greenfield was a massive part of The Stranglers sound. Following a short stay in hospital for heart problems the 71yr legend contracted and died from Covid 19.

Dave wrote most of this with the Drummer (who in my experience is often the most talented musician in the band)
