No street parties in our street but a few in the streets around with people responsibly sitting outside having drinks but apart with their Union Flags and bunting out. After dropping some food to the mother in law I walked around and took some pictures during my hours walk.
Talked to my Dad this morning about my Grandfather who suffered terribly with what was called Shellshock then but now we call PTSD after the war. Never realised but he had to be baptised as a Christian (he was always a pragmatist) before marrying my Nan on the same day during wartime.
Came home to the Mrs blasting Vera Lynn and cooking risotto with the wild garlic we picked a few days ago. Had a nice white Rioja with it and am now going to sink a few English ales.
Lovely weather for it. Cheers lads
