Iconic Fights is my new fav since HBO did Legendary Nights.

Ray really gave a class here-on the different type of KDs, the ones he felt & was hurt, the ones he didn't feel, causes legs to go jelly LOL! Equilibrium shots. I wanted to watch just a few minutes.
I watched it all, thanks! NSBTB!

That was a very nice and humble interview by Leonard. I did not like him but know that he was an ATG.

You and I share the same view on sugar Ray Leonard and Floyd Mayweather. I know they were all time greats but I did not like either one of them. But after watching this sugar Ray Leonard interview I like him for his humility as you accurately said.

I will never ever like Floyd.

Haha yeah I don't think I ever will either. The way he has always been flashing his cash and acting the way he acts. Even if he became humble like sugar Ray Leonard, I wouldn't trust it.

If Ray can become likeable, then Floyd probably too. It's amazing how time and old age can make an arrogant guy or a meany seem nice.
    Aw, that nice old man...
Was once an Arse-hole of epic proportions.

I mean even Duran seems like just that cool uncle one could want. But he was a nasty hombre in his youth!

Yeah, I saw one interview, where he broke down in tears, I'm thinking this is a humble moment, finally! Then he wiped his tears and said "I...I just want to say...I deserved this." Arrogant as hell!!!

One thing I do not believe Leonard said was that he originally wanted to stand and fight Hagler. He said he changed his tactic after he got hurt 5 days before the fight in sparring but says "no one stands toe to toe with Hagler". So why have that tactic in the first place?

Is there is something fishy about that comment he made. If he already knew that hagler was a monster puncher then why would he I think to stand toe-to-toe with him at all? I mean I could see if you wanted to try it as a surprise for one round. But the injury in sparring would really be a deterrent to do so. I think he is putting on some Rose colored glasses on this point.

Also he chose Hearns for the rematch because Tommy had been wobbled and lost fights. Leonard thought Tommy was there for the taking. Leonard also beat a fat Duran during that manipulative comeback. Terry Norris also smashed him around for 12 rounds which all should have been mentioned.

you ever have those dreams, you fight a guy, but your punches never hurt him? well, learn how to punch and you wont ever have those dreams again. the reason why a kid learns to box is because he wants to look at another guy in the face and tell him, without having to tell him, he can kick his ass. what a cocky little kid. theres no nice guys in boxing. guys like ray, guys like floyd, happen to be nice enough to be honest about that with us, and unless anybody wants to tell them any different, i happen to think they earned the right to do that.
