It can't be one activity "yes" and the other one "no." It doesn't work that way, and furthermore....... it widens the divide between mask-wearers and non-mask-wearers.

My stance is either we have rules (Constitutional rules mind you) and we follow those OR we don't. The picking and choosing is bullshit and weakens the public's trust in leadership people like Dr. Fauci rely on in order to address the virus.

Shouting down and dismissing Hydroxychloroquine, banning mention of it, censoring it while promoting a study against it which WASN'T based in reality, WASN'T properly researched, WASN'T even done by a real academic group or institution not only isn't right, it foments doubts people have in regard to the authorities and their plans in addressing the elephant in the room which is "how do we beat this virus?".

In previous years, in previous epidemics we've NEVER brought our economy to a screeching halt, we've NEVER quarantined the healthy. Why have things changed?

I'll tell you this much, the fucking quarantine ain't doing so great for people with psychological issues, it ain't helping those who are alcoholics or drug addicts, it's not helping kids who can't play with their friends. There's a lot more to this than JUST the virus itself and I am not sure Fauci really grasps that.

I'm not of the belief that the virus doesn't exist or anything like that. I AM of the belief that where we find ourselves at this moment is no mistake though.
This is your problem. All or Nothing. Black Or White. It is beyond laughable that you can pretend the world works like that. Nobody is pretending that your eyes are not vulnerable to infection, but you have to again ignore the fact that any barrier worn by someone with the virus is going to lessen the likelihood of droplets reaching another person. You know that, but felt the need to tie yourself in a knot to try and pretend that somehow i must be stupid and you must be an expert. For years i did not think you were stupid, but sorry mate you are really fucking dense. Either that or you are so paranoid about showing any concern for those not in your family that it would make you some kind of commie or socialist that again it is impossible to come to any kind of conclusion then you are really fucking dumb.

Nobody wants to fall out with you and they are giving you acres of goodwill and your response is?

That Doctor bloke doesn't know what he is on about

You are worried about Faucci grasping things. You are grasping fucking straws

He's allowed himself to get dragged into mud-slinging battles with mostly Republican congressmen who want nothing more than to impress their boss and undermine Fauci.

But let's not stop the blame at Fauci. Trump is the leader of the nation. The one who people look to for leadership in times of crisis. He's failed miserably. He blames everyone but the White House dog. He contradicts himself almost daily. He doesn't let a little thing like a global pandemic get in the way of his Gibraltar-sized ego. IMO, he's done everything wrong, and refuses to admit it.

Other nations got over the hump. Why not the U.S.? Trump is the POTUS and like they say..... "the buck stops here." Other nations are literally scratching their heads over the runaway numbers coming from the U.S. as compared to other countries where they had true leadership, combined by a cooperative population..... and now they can say they've beaten the pandemic. Trump just blusters his way through interviews and says asinine thing after asinine thing.

Shit..... even Trump FOLLOWERS are jumping ship. Even THEY realize "why keep defending this egotistical bozo down the shitter?"
Fauci got caught up being the flavor of the month. He did. I don't mind the guy, but I want consistency which he hasn't provided and according to Beanz that makes me dense. It's "all or nothing, black & white" for me in regards to consistency...how stupid of me, how silly of me.

Did Trump do a perfect job on COVID, no, but there are SEVERAL events and practices which didn't help him and people will dog pile the blame on him for. Those events & practices being: China lying, The WHO lying and covering for China, and one of the MAJOR issues is Governors putting virus patients in nursing homes....again GOVERNORS did that and it was quite unwise, but hey Gov. Cuomo won't face consequences for it will he?

Trump started slow on COVID, but he caught up and then some in terms of ventilators, hospitals, PPE, N95 masks, etc.

As I said to TIC. You can cut your cloth to suit on this. The bottom line is 'The Experts' are divided on whether they work or not and always have been, it's not a new thing. This article here cites lots of studies all over the World that say they are affective and some that say they aren't https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/202...virus-science/

Picking the one you like best and calling it so, daft. Common sense says if you stick something in the way of something harmful, it helps. Seatbelts aren't perfect. We all accept that it's better to wear one than not right?

seat belts is a great example and yet you still have asswipes who say that somebody who had a seatbelt on during an accident was the cause of the death

Those kinds of ass wipes always find the exception and then use that as their freak flag to wave high in order to justify their non-compliance with a common sense decision

They talk about virus being smaller than the holes in a mask, they act like it is a direct hit with a laser beam and the virus particle will go straight through the holes on a mask. Walking through a cloud of suspended water vapor from somebody's cough or sneeze or yelling or shouting, OBVIOUSLY THE MASK IS GOING TO BLOCK THAT THE MAJORITY OF TIMES. SAME WITH THE EYES. IF YOU ARE WEARING EYEGLASSES AND YOU WALK STRAIGHT THROUGH A CLOUD OF MIST WHICH HANGS IN THE AIR FOR SEVERAL MINUTES OR MORE, OBVIOUSLY THE GLASSES WILL BLOCK THE VIRUS PARTICLES FROM LANDING IN YOUR EYES.

These are sick people suffering from anal retention and the Good ol Murrican Way of Non-compliance duh Muh Freedom.

Also the part of the face which is covered by The mask which is pretty large from under the eyes the entire nose down over the mouth over the chin and blocking both cheeks, prevents virus load from sticking to the face, which you then could rub into your mouth or nose. These mental midgets cannot fathom such cause and effect.

I can name many more scenarios, but they will poo poo each one because God gave them a mouth and vocal chords and that's it.

Remember, anybody can open their mouth and let the diarrhea come out. Mustard yellow diarrhea, sticky as tar, gross as a used barbecue grill.

car crashes exist. we have all seen or experienced them yeh. so called experts can say what they want. how often have the experts been wrong & lied to you? prove your belief before you start saying what will help against it

So they’re experts when they say masks don’t work. ‘So called’ experts when they say they do? C’mon kid. You’re smarter than that.

I’m not trying to prove anything. My stance has been very clear. If you have proved something I would suggest sharing it with the medical community because you could end a debate that’s been going on for decades.

i never said they were experts. as i said i just post information to combat the hysterical fearporn on here. like you said there are articles on both side of the argument. you can pick the ones that suit your bias. that is why it is pointless with me giving you knowledge about my personal experience with masks & filtration. better to know for yourself than be told. you must realize though that there could never be an accurate study on city or nation wide mask wearing in public that can be applied to the whole planet. it would be impossible to monitor, no control sample, unknown mask wearer habits, weather & humidity differences, self reporting is largely biased & many other issues. you want to believe theres an imaginary virus that is your choice. you want to believe that a mask will help against the imaginary virus that is also your choice. i'll wait until the imaginary virus is proved real before worrying about what will help

we’re already missing tons of cases. According to CDC antibody data, our current PCR system is testing only enough people to detect about 10 percent of the total number of infections. “If everyone took an antigen test today — even identifying only 50 percent of the positives — we would still identify 50 percent of all current infections in the country,” Jha has explained. That’s “five times more than the 10 percent of cases we are likely currently identifying because we are testing so few people.”
