Verdejo looked pretty impressive in blowing out previously undefeated Will Madera in one round. I'm not gonna get too excited about it just yet... as Felix has to get a couple more fights under his belt before we can see whether his comeback is legit. He certainly looked the part tonight, though. He looked quick, strong, and powerful. Once he got Madera in trouble with an uppercut near the center of the ring, he wasted little time in finishing him off in the corner. Madera was no slouch, either. We'll have to see how this plays out.

It turned out to be the main event in an ESPN Top Rank card which was supposed to feature Miguel Marriaga vs. Mark John Yap.... but that fight was cancelled after Yap showed up almost 10 pounds over the weight limit at the weigh-in. What a chump. Max Kellerman was on the air throwing Yap the towel, but to hell with that. Yap must've broken some kind of world record with that shat.
