Default Jamal James v Thomas Dulorme PBC on Fox

Things have been slow but regular level cards are picking up. Hey they can't all be mega star super-fights folks . Those are just facts. Just walked into this one. Always liked James but just as DeMarco gave him all he wanted I suspect the recent version of Thomas Dulorme will do the same. PBC is going with the fake background with cardboard fans in the stands and piped in reaction which is reeeal whack. Major League Baseball is currently doing this and the action is best left 'real' until fans can be funneled in to these cards.

Undercard saw David Morrell who was only 2-0 beat 21-0-1 Lennox Allen over 12 rounds for an interim WBA super dooper world 168 belt . Somehow someway Lewis was the #1 mandatory for Callum Smith and Canelo .

Have to say the black gloves and white suit really makes Jimmy Lennon Jr shine . The pre recorded fan cheering really has to go. Main event. Be interested to see if Dulorme can smother James just enough to turn his gangly frame against him.

Discipline first for James smart and long behind jab with good feet. He keeps his head it's on Dulorme to barge in or sit on the end of that jab.

James better over the top and Dulorme ripping off some tight combos to the body in second. James doing well not to go wild in close. James back hits the ropes and Dulorme does his best work at rounds end.

Dulorme doing better forcing a hook a thon. Jab of James ebbed off early third and some good inside exchanges here. James has a solid right hook to the gut! So much for boxing your height .

James back on his stick but Dulorme doing well putting shots together. Not really scoring this but both taking gaps of these rounds. Who's idea was it to make every aspect of this card production blacker than midnight. Literally looks like they're fighting in an old school dark room ffs. Good fight, better round James in 4th. Think I cracked a wisdom tooth. Crap. Thank you tip your waiters

Someone lit a fire under Dulorme he comes out in 6th and is steady focused with short inside hook combos to the body. Doing better walking him down and NOW James comes back at a minute left and opens up long hard shots of his own. Dulorme caught clean but carries through and ends round with a couple of shots to back of the head of James. Brutal round 6. Both had to sponge some

Joe Goosen on the mic is night and day. Big question is who will hire Paulie after Showtime canned him. Joel Diaz tore Dulorme a new arsehole between rounds. James having good start to 8th back to boxing. Dulorme may be easing this one for final two.

Dulorme finishes well last 30 seconds as James slides along ropes to get away. James warned for spinning.

Dulorme out hard early 9th but can't sustain it. James with the chopping long right hands. He really doesn't put things though. James round both have slowed.

Edit: Oh crap this is for 12 rounds . Smart boxing early 10th for James. Without that jab he may in for a world of struggle in a PBC 147 herd. Showing an iron gut though as it's been Dulormes best weapon. Time for all or nothing for Dulorme here

James finishes 12th very well basic boxing it last couple of rounds. Dulorme hit his wall a few rounds back but didn't lack trying to break James in half with top notch body work. I think James is where he is going in terms of ability but kept his head tonight and moved much much better when needed. Waiting on cards

david has work to do but going twelve rounds & winning an interim title against an unbeaten guy with twenty three fights in only his third fight is the type of step up i like
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

James vs Dulorme was a good fight.

I had it close at 115-113 James.
