Forum technical issues... AGAIN!

Ok... so I've gotten used to having to log in TWICE It's a nuisance but what the hell... it just takes another ten seconds off of my time.

But periodically the PM feature goes haywire. I'm unable to respond to PM's or even write my own.

Does anyone know what's going on with the site?

Im not having that situation, Im getting lots of PMs lately and can easily send without any issues. Logging in twice.....hmmmm, thats strange, I dont think I ever had that either, but I HAVE had where you click on in-box and for some reason it takes me back to Off Topic, and I have to click on the in-box again.

I am not very good on IT issues but you may have set saddo on a favourite setting where you have to log on twice?

Delete it. Get into Saddo and save that one?

Ya, I get some errors to saying site isn’t available. Maybe all 20 users are trying to log in at once to read all the important stuff and we are overloading the site.

20+1...apparently Miles is back from self imposed exile . Yeh I had that two days ago, it timed out loading a couple pages. Just cleaned up cache and defrag etc and better on the restart.

Probably shouldn't have shut off mid Windows major update too

I plugged my phone into a toaster and put 2 slices of cinnamon raisin bread in; I then logged in and got a slight electric shock in my knee, right when the toast popped up. I saw an error message on my laptop saying "Lenovo device reaching max temp" with a ☠️☠️☠️ kind of scary warning; right then, the doorbell rang and as I went for the door the cellphone exploded and smoked out the kitchen. Luckily nobody was at the door-- the doorbell had rung when the cinnamon raisin bread popped up into the air from the toaster and the doorbell burnt out my cellphone screen. This was the latest round of stimulus checks we got, and I went for the butter in the fridge, as the toast was ready to be eaten and the laptop was now displaying a new error message saying "♨️✴️❎❇️◼️◾▪️" which I ignored just long enough to get onto Saddo, but the whole thing got sabotaged when Delta made landfall and short-circuited the power transformers from the train station to the telephone poles on North MacArthur Blvd. here in Irving. All I had to do was restart the fucking laptop and allow updates.

Site performance certainly isn't what it used to be. Screens routinely download slower than before... noticeably so. I know it's not on this end, because I could finish a project on other windows/sites while I'm waiting for a forum screen to download. There must've been an event at some point which caused this change. Seems like it's been a few weeks or maybe even months like this. I don't even use my phone for the forum, 'cause I use my PC a lot. Phone would probably be worse.

I have the same issue and reported it to Saddo but everytime he goes on, it works for him. Sods Law.

I know spicoli had issues doing the rbr so it is not just me.

It is nearly always a Gateway Error which suggests a problem with either the servers or the settings on the servers that this forum is sitting on. It has got pretty bad recently and will just hang when you hit post or try to click on the next page. This is true when browsing or posting on both PC or Android on a phone.

The only PMs I ever get are from Walrus telling me not to PM him. I kid you not
