Feel the unity, feel the fucking oneness! Does anyone remember Trump's inauguration?
Yeah I think I remember something about they wanted to bomb the White House, they severed his head which was dripping with blood, they asked when was the last time an actor assassinated a president?, they put on a play in Central Park where Trump gets assassinated, Snoop Dogg shot Donald Trump through the head as a mannequin....

    Now they want unity.

I get it man, the capitol riots were a bad thing dude. But now I see the state capitols and other areas going into a “lock down” on top of a lockdown due to potential violence. And the news, every day it’s all a about “potential violence” “we must prevent it”. Either something is going on or we are being gaslighted. You know what else might help, let’s open some shit up so people aren’t going stir crazy. Crazy shit man. Doesn’t the science say now lockdowns don’t work? My state is 99.7% mask compliant and has been on some form of lockdown since the start. It really does start to hurt your brain after a while the various data and science that continues to contradict itself. It’s as if politics and science became intertwined some where along the way.

Now that he's President-elect, he continues to push for unity. Once he's sworn in... he'll continue to do so.

    But.....

Unity in today's America is a pipe dream. Ain't gonna happen.

The most ardent of Trump followers, in a manner that would make Trump proud, would rather see the country go down in flames than "give in" to Biden's calls for unity.

So frankly... unity ain't gonna work.

    So what's Plan B?

What do you do when all of the well-intentioned arguments in the world fall on deaf ears? What do you do when your defeated opponents seem bent on making the whole thing come crashing down around your ears?

Seriously... and this is beyond any Trump (pro or con) arguments. At this point, some of us don't give a shit about Trump and just want him gone.

    But what's Plan B?

Is Biden going to be reduced to meekly begging the far right for unity? Which is basically NEVER going to happen? And is umpteen times further away today than at any other time in history?

Does Biden at some point take off the silk gloves and put on the boxing ones instead?

I mean... this fucking tug-of-war has to end at some point, right? If not... get ready for an America weakened from within to the point that the Russias and Chinas of the world are going to be plotting some permanent headways.

At what point does the begging stop and the hardline actions begin?

Are we gonna keep harping about the past? Seems like it's all we do nowadays. "Oh... so-and-so did it and got away with it... so now I'm gonna do the same damn thing." All that's missing is the "nyah-nyah-nyah".

Is nobody else tired of this shit?

FFS man! If I'm the GOP... I get my shit together and start looking for the next viable candidate to take the government back (or at least part of it) at the next available opportunity.

That IS... of course... if elections are still a thing in the States. I mean, who knows... given the sudden mistrust even on democratic elections... is nothing out of bounds? Is everything game and up for grabs?

Someone let us know if it is... because the words "this is not who we are" stopped meaning ANYTHING a long time ago.
Going to be a long long haul. I think much of it comes down to the Republican party which is in a position of now needing to chew it's own legs off at the knees to free itself of the mescaline induced perma fracture that is Trump and the culty Q grasp. It's actually a shame, I as an Independent very much want a strong Republican party. But we're beyond two party parties now at least temporarily. All of this was never about legislative achievements or advancing a conservative agenda. Trump nurtured a culture of distrust and delusional dogma as a lowest common denominator but I really do believe a part of those supporters are not too far gone to come back. Some though are just that, done. Gone pecans. Lost causes who will continue the hero worship for that mindset over belief in this Country and it's principles. I think we'll see more middle ground with the old guard Rs and the new Administration..in spots..than we may think. A good start may be factual, reasoned differences in political opinion has to stop resulting in immediate knee jerk walled off indictments. You don't have to agree with someone to act like an adult and shake a damn hand.

My state has been on some form
Of lockdown since the Wuhan storm
Then I saw a Chinese giant
He said I was mask compliant

    We are being gaslighted
    East and West have collided
Something in the way she moves
Has a bass line that really grooves

    Politics and science intertwined
The old new gate prison and copper mine
The Nutmeg State, you'll go to Yale
New London port, you went to sail

    Brilliant.

It is not so different here, as hard as that may be to imagine. Johnsons cult of personality allowed him to illegally close parliament and ignore the seriousness of the pandemic.Today we have the worst infectionand death figures (per 100 000)in the world. That lies at Johnsons feet.

The vaccine rollout is very good though, so credit where it is due.

I would like a tory (Conservative) party with more of the principled politicians I grew up with, even though I would never vote for them. A two party system is never perfect but they should at least knock the extreme edges off each other and share ideas which have merit above politics.

Good luck in the US, you are going to need it.

The vaccine rollout is very good though, so credit where it is due.

I would like a tory (Conservative) party with more of the principled politicians I grew up with, even though I would never vote for them. A two party system is never perfect but they should at least knock the extreme edges off each other and share ideas which have merit above politics.

Good luck in the US, you are going to need it.
brilliant. For the first time I agree with you about something in politics. Yes we are really going to need good luck here in the US now with Biden and Harris.

    Cheers mate😀
Thank you, but it is not my post that was brilliant or me you need to be agreeing with.

    It is Spicoli.

    You need to be agreeing
Because I am the one who decides
Who you need to be agreeing with
    Because I am beans
And you need to agree with me

Aint enuff 4 leaf clovers, furry rabbits' foot luck to unfuck what we saw ---get fucked.
Push up! still deep in it, push down, drowning in it.
Cleaning up the mess takes time, fuckin' it up only takes a minute.
I used to know my heritage, now I'm stuck like a dump truck with a flat.
Cause Joe told me, my choice of POTUS would determine If I'm Black.
Lo' What do I see? a liberal looking down at Bernie Sanders trying to get a cheap kick in?
Cause he had the nerve to pose with a black man holdin' some fried chicken?

Progressives don't want my Aunt Jemima on a pancake box or my Uncle Ben on a box of rice.
Of all the things to fight for, I'm supposed to stand by and say, oh, how nice.

Conservatives turned Right Winged, Progressives celebrated gays with all their might
Christians started worshipping a chosen one, while Liberals can't wait to elect the 1st Hermophrodite

Our Troops sent across the globe,
Yet there are no news wars I'm supposedly told
Fannie & Freddie just macked us for 8oo million
Pardoning cronies who used deception to make a killin'
So how does a nation unfuck itself?
Deep in debt, we have no tangible wealth.
Just like our bodies, infected with viruses, woe is our health.

Later with the prayers, lets just wish and hope and maybe bring some luck...
But the problem is...Aint enuff luck to unfuck whats Fucked.

Today in Biden Land, he will inherit a nation that is broken, splintered.
Democrats have broken into Liberal and Progressive camps.
Republican went from conservatism to libertarian with a dash of Right Wing, tea Party and now Qanon, each of these names are supposed to represent one party?

Biden will have to manage a system so dysfunctional that Republicans like Ben Sasse stated "QAnon is destroying" the Republican Party "from within. The GOP must reject conspiracy theories or be consumed by them. Now is the time to decide what this party is about.""
if a Republican claims this then how does a Democrat resolve?
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/gop-sen-b...053109890.html

The Republican party's voices of supposed reason or their media? Like Alex Jones has the same concerns.
Or as he responded to his interruptions of the Qanon supporter with "BECAUSE YOU'RE LYING! YOU'RE FULL OF SHIT! BECAUSE EVERYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF YOUR GODAMN MOUTHS ISN'T TRUE!! YOU SAID HE WAS THE MESSIAH! I WILL NOT SUFFER YOU Q PEOPLE! I KNEW WHAT YOU WERE DAY ONE!!" [Pardon the caps...as he is yelling this stuff]

FBI id people like Douglas Jensen, whose tshirt Q- was to acknowledge they were behind the desecration of the Capital by means of insurrection.

Biden will have to deal with people like Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene who won her office with statements like “there’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take this global cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles out"

Today he takes on a mission where the opposite party seemed too embarrassed and humiliated by their POTUS that they resigned by the dozens- get this! In the last 2 weeks of his tenure, why?
Why would ANYONE leave a post, that is coming to an end? They couldn't ride it out? Or, were they making a statement that they were distancing themselves from the one who they had to defend over and over, this time finding no defense for a POTUS to tell his rally goers...go over to the Capital.
What for? Aint no windows in which the Senators could look outside and see a protest is there?

How then could they have made their presence known outside of doing what they did?
Biden will inherit a nation where close/over 70 million hate his guts.
70 million that watched their president select judges that said- we see no mass fraud.
70 million that listened to their House Speaker say- we see no mass fraud.
70 million that watched their own overnight sensation media of NEWSMAX go from reporting massive fraud to claiming those who said it on their network werent representing NEWSMAX.
70 million plus watched their POTUS' main dog, Mr. Barr go from defending him to stating There is no evidence of massive fraud

70+ million supporters who listened to the claim smartmatic helped to cheat, are the same 70 million that listened to their source- walk all that shit back, when cease and desist letters were sent where? Sent To the right wing media. Not conservative. Conservatives were kicked to the curb. Right wingers took over, IMO.

'Newsmax would like to clarify that it has NOT reported as true about claims made about smartmatic or dominion. They have no relation with George Soros"

The Outgoing Admin paid millions for Wisconsin to find...80 more votes for Biden. They paid for an Eddie Perez Director of OSET Institute Technology to say "There is no evidence of massive fraud" So from Eddie, OSEAT, Fox, Lou Dobbs refact-check, Newsmax, Atty Gn. Barr, Ben Sasse to name a few have all recanted their position of massive fraud, then leaves to question; if the Donnie Darko Loyalists won't talk or at least acknowledge (their) media lied to them gave them false news, false hope via a false god aka chosen one--then that gives us a glimpse of what Biden's task will be like.

& when a 1st Lady doesnt want to pass the FLOTUS? Why? When wives are brought into the fray, how deep is the hate?
Stay Tuned! I'm sure the hate of the hate-masters will perform to their highest, er, uh, lowest level to show us.

    It will be hellish IMO.
