    Biden had best look out.

There's a Brocktonian prediction® that Trump will be reinstated by August of this year.

That is of course... until he ISN'T... and then it'll be off to the next baseless and ultimately false prediction churned out by Trumpers.

The epitome and representation of where sniveling pecker woods like Gaetz have sunk the GOP and any semblance of policy. It's all culture war horse shat. A hearing on extremism Nov 6th etc and this clown gets a couple of feet inserted in his pompous ass. Shaking his head like a scolded 8 yr old as Gen. Milley addresses it sums it up. Then today he says to defund the FBI..and deletes it as he's tied to a current investigation involving sex with underage girl(s) .

Biden claims they've reached bipartisan deal on infrastructure plan.

    According to BBC
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-57604121

The eight-year proposal is new spending. It includes
    $109bn for roads and bridges
    $66bn for railways
    $49bn for public transport
$25bn for airports, according to a White House statement.

For me I wonder, why wasn't this done during the 1st days of the previous POTUS that ran on it?
Republican House, Senate Majority, Oval Office & even Judicial Branch all majority Republican- how did they not accomplish this?

    Bloomberg states:
Biden, Senators Get $579 Billion Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...nate-goal-line

    FOX states:

Biden says he won't sign bipartisan spending deal without Democrats' infrastructure wish list

As usual the spiteful opinion editorials got to inject what they hate- partisanship into it. Just give the damn story and let people decide for themselves.

However the business wing as usual does exactly that- impartial, non partisan, they give the facts- yes he wants some hidden goodies they all do, but let the reader come to that conclusion, kudo Fox business!

In fact! the slanderer in Chief ran on the Builder President-with his hardhat on, cause he knows stuff like that excites his base.

How Trump's $1 Trillion Infrastructure Pledge The “builder president” launched several “Infrastructure Weeks.”

Donald Trump campaigned on a $1 trillion infrastructure plan.
“We are going to fix our inner cities and rebuild our highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, schools, hospitals And we will put millions of our people to work as we rebuild it.”
    --2016 election night victory speech.

He referred to himself as “the builder president,”
Trump held multiple “Infrastructure Weeks” calling for investments in transportation, electricity and water systems during his presidency. IMO a good thing & a good start!

The $1 trillion (later $1.5 trillion) then down to $200 billion as an incentive for private investors, (see there he goes again punkass president gotta help the alread rich to become richer) But i digress...

Fact: states and localities to put up $800 billion in Nashville for a $5.4 billion light-rail referendum Nashville voters rejected the rail measure three months later. And the president’s building vows never came to pass.
(I don't know who is at fault)

Another infrastructure plan-was the Gateway Project, the $30 billion plan to repair Amtrak and commuter rail links under the Hudson River between New York and New Jersey.
The Trump administration was initially supportive of it. But by late 2017, U.S. Department of Transportation officials stopped coming to project meetings, and in 2018, DOT Secretary Elaine Chao told members of Congress that Trump was trying to cancel funding.

“The president is concerned that New York and New Jersey have no skin in the game,” so all he has to do is make some metaphporical statement & then walk away...

Political animus between Trump and New York began to boil over so most felt the apparent explanation for why the project failed was down to partisanship, even though no republican or democratic senator or House Rep- obstructed.

IMO(Any New Yorkers there at the time...would know best)

The administration seemed to punish cities that simply voted blue..to hell with the Republicans in those cities, if he turns down the planm he knows democrats will always be blamed, damned the reason or proof.'

In 2018, the Federal Transit Administration delayed the release of $1.4 billion in capital investment grants for urban transit projects, according to Transportation for America, an advocacy group.

The unexplained delays continued in 2019, adding millions of dollars in costs for project sponsors and causing some of them to withdraw their requests for funding or even cancel plans, a July 2020 report by the U.S. Government Accountability Office found.

“If you’re a smaller community that wants to get something done, but then a year passes without this grant you’re expecting, your costs exceed your resources,” said Beth Osbourne, the director of Transportation for America.

FACTS- POTUS 45 Claimed he was the Builder President. Went to rallies or factories wearing a hardhat (like Dubya on the aircraft carrier wearing a flightsuit) they know shit like that hardens the peckers on their voters with excitement.
He had the Majority of the Legislative Branch
    Majority of the Judicial Branch.
What happened to infrastructure plans from 2017-2020?

And here we are again-a Democrat is in office and all we hear from the right is BI-partisanship isnt a priority for Democrats.
And rather than get 'er done...or say the glass is 1/2 full, they are telling their consituents, Biden does NOT want bipartisanship unless they stacked the bill with foolishness. Lets say they are right...then they should have gotten it done themselves when they controlled every facet of government.

    Biden Harris on Immigration:

1st they are in a lose-lose scenario. When Repubs demand they at leastpoint out the unfettered access & they do, then that too is controversial.

"Do not come, do not come," Harris told migrants during a June 7 news conference in Guatemala, warning they would be turned back at the border.

    That isn't good enough.

The fact that this mess is handed off, lets us know the previous administration did what to show as a model for the next admin to follow?

    Nothing.

    edit

End result: The majority of democrats keep their message -pathway to citizenship. This IMO does not address the issue.

    1. They knew coming in they had to have a plan on going to the border- they botched it up & was called on it- what took you so long?
    2. Harris laments infighting- In other words Biden has no control over his admin & barely has control over his bowels I'd imagine at this state of his life.
    3. Biden rejected $2 billion redirected from Defense Department projects in order to fund the border wall, why? Serious- Why not give the measly 2 & then show what it does...nothing to complete the border
    4. Biden knows for a fact that eminent domain is a HUGE issue & no one can make it known? His Psaki is doing a poor job of getting that out to their constituents so at least they have a talking point that makes some sense.
    5. Biden pledged a plan to use the wall funds within 60 days of his vow- that was march, now we're one day away from July. another screw-up.
    6. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is reviewing eminent domain & If DHS deems tracts of land not to be needed, it “will work to return the land to its prior owners.”--- If mainstream media is liberal- they should ALL BE in unison making this known- not even their own rachel nor CNNers can stick to this gameplan
    7. While I am ok with Biden redirecting the funds for military housing, on-base schools, and training facilities- what does this have to do with his position on the wall?
On security be it wall, security.

He voted for the wall in 2006 (as soon as Bush Jr lost the House & Senate via thumping, yet he can't even get that fact across.

On immigration, security in general he's losing the battle as he has long ago lost the battle of controlling the narritive.

Biden/Harris have been inept at handling the immigration issue since Day One.

Just because they're following an act where the POTUS insisted on a medieval wall that (cough) Mexico was going to pay for... and just because said Bozo worked sectors of the American people into a lather of hate (remember El Paso) by talking about an "invasion" of the border... and just because he championed treating ALL immigrants inhumanely...

That doesn't mean Biden/Harris get good... hell... even passing grades. This topic has been handled miserably by many administrations, with the only difference that Trump brought it to the spotlight with his incredibly shitty policies and incendiary rhetoric... and now immigration is more in the public eye than it used to be. But it's always been a problem.

Immigration... like many other issues in the States... get swung around like a giant pendulum, with the right answers lying somewhere in the middle of that swing... but unfortunately out of reach while politicians get worse and worse with every election.

    Sad.

    Nice find @kirklandlaing

The Senator Who Decided to Tell the Truth
A Michigan Republican spent eight months searching for evidence of election fraud, but all he found was lies.

    By Tim Alberta

Not sure if any of you guys are aware of the timing of border cries is the same for Dubya & Donnie.

The wall was never a priority for Bush Jr. Until he lost both house & senate. In other words the passage of the bill was 2006 (6 years after he was elected)

The wall was never a priority for Donnie Until he lost 1/2 the Leg. branch. In other words the request for 5 billion did NOT occur in the 2017 budget nor the 2018 budget. It came weeks after Dems gained House majority.

What a sickening shame Republican voters dont care - that DONALD DUMBSFIELD Approved a 1.3 Trillion dollar bloated budget alloted just 1 billion for the wall- and it was to replace.
Then a 1.4 trillion dollar, I'll keep reminding them.

One would think Biden/Harris has seen this play book over & over.
Yet they still can't get it right.

I'm for the WhiteHouse investing in resources to get info out that they feel is factual, but when they say they are flagging Facebook for posts they deem is bad. I wonder if Biden voters flipped the script- If Trump states- we are flagging facebook posts we dont like.....

The founders of American democracy (Jefferson) and its party (Jackson) didnt think that way. They deemed the printing presses of their day as a great technological source for information aka media- Jefferson was called the son of a 1/2 sqaw. Mean. And a nigguh lover. Jackson was called a trampler of the constitution, he was labeled an adulterer by the media of that day and his wife a whore . Yet when pressed by their constituents on how to respond- they stated allow a free press.

If the white house intervenes on facebook, twitter or anything...they are no longer a limited government with powers few and well defined- the very thing Jefferson to Madison to Jackson ensured would not occur.

“The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation and foreign commerce. ... The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives and liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement and prosperity of the State.

What was said by Psaki IMO was tacky. Tacky as hell. Jackson were alive today- he'd take one look at her boss and tell Joe...to skin his smokewagon...

All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
