And for everyone thinking it's a shit fight because of "Ryder" should know Smith has always blown hot and cold from the start of his career. Boxing is littered throughout history with fighters motivation levels determining their performace, not that context matters to modern boxing experts/fans.
it's a good fight but john was robbed against callum. but callum has a nice shiny zero & a ring belt so it's an easier sell than fives losses & no belt

I can guarantee you that does not happen, Callum Smith is no Rocky Fielding. Just allow 3 fair judges and Callum wins.

Canelo will bust up Smith's body and stop it within 9 rounds. People will still find a way to blame Canelo corruption

three judges from callums family can be there, it won't help him any when canelo separates him from his senses

A better step than a BJS or Plant for me so I can't give Canelo too much stick over this at all. Basically sounds like they just needed Oscar out of the way to carry on . Smith respectable but in Texas fans present and Canelo with new direction everything is favoring Canelo par for the course. Smith won't have an idea to get away from that body attack and can see stoppage late.

Callum Smith should go for Saul Alvarez body as he did against George Groves when he stopped him. Canelo chin is solid.

At some point people have to stop with the hate and give Canelo credit. He could fight anyone, on any platform and he chose Callum because it was the fight he wanted as I told you folks it was the fight he wanted.

Maybe Kovalev was used up but going up to 175 and beating him is no small feat for a guy that started at 147. Beating Smith will be no small feat if he does it. Beating GGG in the rematch was no small feat. The list goes on. Maybe he does have everything his way, but at the end of his career we are going to look at his list of opponents and be like “F me that’s an impressive list of opponents he had every advantage against”

True, I think most have given Canelo credit for taking on the best super middleweight in the world.

At the end of the day do we want the best to fight the best or to put a guy down?

I’ve never and will never like Canelo. But he’s going to have a lot of top top names on his CV when it’s all said and done.
