Oh man there we go again. Korobov with the achilles snafu! Someone has a voodoo doll of Korobov filling it full of needles. Talk about being sent signals, had him up 3-1 before stoppage

Hoping I can sneak the 2nd fight in there before I'm forced to go channel surfing with ESPN.

another night of flipping. Used to hate them pre-Covid now look forward to them .

Young Richardson Hitchens oozes confidence and self awareness. Mendez has a little left good crossroads fight. A little

Hitchins very sharp with rapid jabs in 1st. Mendez in for a long night.

Round 1 was all Hitchins. Mendez looks awful inactive in there. This may be my last round (Rd 2) of undivided attention.

Mendez with the sell job of headbutt in 2nd and on replay Hitchins was laughing at him. Mendez got in a solid left hook when Hitchins traded with him but about it.

Hitchins beginning to rip off follow up punches off of that piston jab. Moves really well in there. Mendez trying to make it choppy and physical for counter but they are literally two very different speeds.

Aw hell... what was I thinking.

ESPN is over there showing LSU-Florida and the 4th quarter is just starting. Back to this "we'll show boxing then football is over" crap.

Ok..... saved by the bell by ESPN Deportes. I'd rather watch boxing narrated in Spanish than be stuck watching a damn college football game.

Long as LSU is doing better than that brutal Alabama steamroll job last week . Never fails with delays

Mendez does a tons of complaining about head but Hitchins knows how to leap in there with it. Good old textbook for Hitchins to flip through here but like to see more assertion on the combos. Mendez gets in late in 6th

Mendez best round really in 7th. Not a close fight but Hitchins a bit stand up as this goes. Hitchins comes out in 8th trying to take it all back

I spoke too soon on ESPN Deportes. They looked to be showing a boxing card... and suddenly they're on about the Mexican soccer team. Who gives a flying one??

I've checked every ESPN I have ESPND, ESPNU, ESPNN, ESPNXYZ... and nothing. So I'm firmly on Hitchins-Mendez until there's signs of life elsewhere... or until LSU-Florida finishes and hope they don't go into OT.
