Default Commentators - Something Has To Be Done

The commentating for boxing is terrible.
We need to get rid of all these morons in the US & the UK, or we need to find a way to mute their idiotic nonsense commentary but still have the audio.
It's unbearable, and ruins the event.
    What can be done?

They have to represent their paymaster's. It will always be this way. Stay neutral as much as you can.

Put Teddy in these fight-bubbles and give him an open bar.

That’s the issue. They have to talk up the ones that make them money.

I am just so disappointed in Brian Kenny. He was so good back in his ESPN days. On DAZN, he has become the most biased commentator I have ever heard. He’s so beyond bad.

I don't know what they were thinking putting Andrade on the mic last night . Dude was a mess. Dressed like he was 15 and the desperate shouting on as the other crew were trying to close the segment "Billy J Saunders get me BJS" and the fe3male announce was literally 'umm ok'.

    Most biased I've seen
Brian Kenny has gone full fluffer
    Jim Lampley...bang-bang-bang
Tim Bradley...some bias but also make the ears bleed

Paulie informed and pretty fair I thought
Bobby Czyz on old Showtime. Bit dull but balanced
Barry Tompkins on pre FNF. Al Bernstein better before the new Showtime. Last night he was lamenting how Gaballo was different from the Youtube clips he saw
Teddy Atlas...the literally called BS on his networks for mismatches regularly and is the only commentator who has ever grilled the judges on live TV, up close and personal, for terrible scores. "You are so wrong don't you get that at all"

Andrade looked very nervous to be fair to the git, I thought he was shaking when he was speaking, which is odd as he gets punched for a living you'd think a bit of public speaking wouldn't scare him.

Do any other sports commentators show bias?

I'm ok with commentators for the most part. I come to expect Bradley & Ward to have disagreements with each other which is rare.

I liked how they got heated on Lomachenko needing to start quicker, while the latter stated -he can't that's his style.
Bradley ; "But Dre! Dre C'mon now!

Reminded me a bit of Foreman and Merchant at odds with one another.

Worst for me is Lennox. Not that he's biased for anyone, he just doesn't seem too bright. He's like the John Madden of boxing in that he points out such obvious stuff.

"He's pawing at his nose, so he definitely got hit...in the nose."

    uh, ok....
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!

The DAZN commentary team on both sides of the pond for the Garcia Campbell fight was a joke. The American side of the team all seem to be preoccupied with bickering amongst themselves and then you've got Gareth Davies and Ricky Hatton delayed, from a cupboard, who both sound like the 'lets go over to Gareth and Ricky' call is waking them from a nap.

I like Paulie calling fights. Knowledgeable, articulates that knowledge well and without bias. He calls it as he sees it for the most part. I could listen to Teddy rant all day long. He can use any metaphor he likes as far as I'm concerned, he's golden. Ian Darke was always good. Although he had to work alongside Jim Watt for the most part who for me was one of the worst. Watt would pitch a narrative of a fight to the watchers, the fight could visibly shift and Watt would refuse to acknowledge that shift because it didn't fit in with the line he was peddling.

There's too much obligation and ego on the line from commentary teams for me. How up your own arse do you have to be to sit out the undercard and then slide into the commentary seat for the main event? It's like Buffer slipping on the tux just to announce the main event despite 'lets get ready to rumble' having lost it's luster a long time ago.

Lennox Lewis. Awful. Great fighter no doubt but just a horrible commentator.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

I Guess with Lennox, he tries, eh? LOL! Paulie is ok, just takes a round or 2 for me. Is it his "Bronx" accent that makes him talk so fast! Eventually it all comes together I can understand him. Ray Leonard, Mike Tyson are my top boxers turned commentators. Gil Clancey & Howard Cosell are my GOATs.
Dan Dierdorf former NFL player did ABC boxing, when he did his, he knew when to talk, let it rest, no cheerleader.

Special shutout to Manny Steward, the only one that can pick both fighters to win, then at the end- claim he knew all along who would win!
I end as I started, Lennox is just awful, but not in a biased way. In a commentator way, sad to say/
