I'm sure when he dished out $750,000, it may have come close to cleaning his bank account out. But talk about the returns. Has to be the best investment any fighter has ever made.
I hope Arum is still sour about allowing a fighter out of a contract for what now seems like meager dollars. He let a guy go that became the biggest PPV attraction in sports history.
As far a Lopez, I'm not sure where his peak will take him. Very good fighter, but if he is the man he's proving himself to be, there's a few losses awaiting him ahead. Shouldn't lower his stock.
