    Default RIP Nicky Booth

Nicky Booth has died aged just 40. Always a troubled life it seemed with drug and drink problems, stints inside. I always get the two brothers mixed up but Nicky was the more talented of the Booth brothers, the elder Jason had his head screwed on slightly better I think but lacked the raw talent of Nicky.

They seemed to be on Sky/Matchroom cards every week back in the day. I remember even back then the stories of Nicky sleeping rough whilst in his pomp, already gripped by class A's.

I'm not sure of the exact cause but a sad end to a short life.

Nicky was talented and very skilled boxer. I do remember him fighting on Sky and winning domestic titles in good contests.

    RIP troubled boxer.

Good fighter, tough guy and always entertaining to watch. Yes, his brother wasn’t as talented but he was a bit more sensible

    What a shame, RIP

Never had the pleasure but see he retired at just 24. Due to injury or personal issue? Far too young 40 yrs old, RIP Nicky.

Sounds like personal issues, he did lose world title fights at the time against very good fighters. He also seemed past his best, even at that early age.
