Talks with Chris Arreola? Another overstuffed Pinata waiting to get the stuffing beatan out of him. This fight proves nothing.
And if it happens, one of the article above claims- If Ruiz Jr wins, he is likely to land another big-name fight such as Dillian Whyte, Alexander Povetkin or Daniel Dubois

Personally, I think his team should've went after Wilder. Bigger name obviously and he has the punch, whereas Arreola has nothing to offer him other than a glorified sparring session.

And with Wilder's team now seemingly non existent, he could also get the upper hand mentally- that IMO would earn him the right to fight White or Pov or Daniels.

Arreola is just being used now. Sad to see good guys keep going like this. He may have won a title if the Klits weren't around or if Joshua didn't come up right behind them with Wilder and Fury, but thems the breaks!

He is going out like Kevin Johnson, who vowed to retire when Anthony Joshua obliterated him and stuck around to take beatings... for the money, we hope!

Just wish he'd get a move on and schedule a fight. He has the talent if he gets in proper shape.

I think Ruiz is a waste of space and just got lucky. He will never achieve anything again remotely close to a title and should retire.

Possibly so. And I was as critical as anyone about his disgraceful 2nd fight with Joshua.
But he deserves big credit for the 1st fight, which was taken at late notice.

Master could be right about Ruiz.
And I too was actually disgusted with his self sabotage before Joshua 2, but I find something really likeable about Ruiz and I'd really like to see him do well.

Ruiz actually fought on the undercard of a big fight a couple of months earlier, forgot which one, and was in good condition when he went into camp for the second time to face AJ. So he was in the best condition he had ever been ever. No way will he do that again when he has millions in the bank. The hunger is not there to train and fight anymore.

One big punch from a dark alley with eyes closed for ko, maybe luck. The same 2,3 different shots being set up and worked in multi rounds, skill. Problem was he bought his own conclusion and about 20+ stuffed crust pizzas for the rematch. And credit to AJ he changed the plot up.

I laughed when he stated he partied too much. No. uh eating isn't the equivalent of partying. Hoes, drugs, clubs, alcohol must be the 'old' way to party!
