Baffles me why this shit isn't sorted out when the fights agreed and not argued over in fight week.
Makes you wonder if Canelo has seen the career best shape Saunders has got himself into and is getting nervy?

Again I go back to the contract. Who draws these up, anyway? Are they written on the back of a napkin? This is a multi-million dollar event... and judges and ring size are STILL being discussed?

Might just want to save time and money and do "rock, scissors, paper" on the day before the fight.
This has all been worked out in the finest detail but Canelo is trying to gain even more advantage closer to the fight because he feels he is the A side fighter. BJS should just threaten to pull out as Canelo has more to lose and will relent just as Wlad did against Fury.

Then contracts in boxing aren't really contracts at all... and are not worth the paper they're printed on.

Yes... BJS should threaten to pull out, but he won't because how bad can a beating be if you can secure your financial future.
I know BJS will not pull out but the threat alone will make Canelo think he cannot push it too far. The double bluff will certainly can play on Canelo's mind. Wlad was timid when he finally faced Fury.

At least BJS has highlighted the way Canelo is stacking his cards and Eddie is sucking up to his meal ticket.

I see what you're saying, but Canelo operates in his own universe. You say Canelo has more to lose but that is debatable. Behind BJS there's a literal conga line of fighters wanting to secure their financial future with Canelo.

Canelo's finances... his future... his (cough) "legacy"... his Hollywood movie... and all beyond secure. If BJS drops out... he got cold feet... no issues for Canelo there.

As far as BJS "highlighting the way Canelo is stacking his cards"..... that's been common knowledge in the boxing world for years now.

Even people on the street that know nothing about boxing know that Canelo is the coddled prima donna of boxing. Imagine... the WBC invents belts for him on a whim. A fucking golden throne isn't all that far-fetched.

No... BJS is just another insignificant gnat on Canelo's "to-do" list to enhance his (cough) "legacy." Nothing he can do or say or threaten will bother Canelo much.

I agree but threatening to pull out of the fight would hurt Canelo with his big fat large contract he has with DAZN so I think Canelo would relent to his last minute demands.

Billy "I’ll fight any man anywhere, in their garden, in a field" Saunders.............but not in a boxing ring

But who the fk does Saunders think he is ?

He's the B side but he really expected to have a 24 ft ring (Which is the maximum size)

Not many fights are in 24 ft rings. Last one I remember was Fury - Klit.

And as you can see even with these two giants the ring STILL looked too big. So two middleweaight in 24 ft ring would look crazy. Wilder and Fury fought in 20 ft ring. But the Saunders team say they're prepeared to come down to 22 ft but team Canelo wants 20 ft.

21-foot ring manufacturers, now is your time

Hopefully this is just antics and mind games

They did but Canelo wants to change it in his favour at the last minute.

Canelo documentary on tonight 11.45pm BBC 1 entitled Greatest Athlete which is a bit farfetched but a first for the channel.

Never been up on ring size regulations or understood why all rings aren't same size to prevent all this carry on.

So to the uninformed - why has this issue just arisen now, surely if different ring sizes are an option then they would have agreed that fucking ages ago?

Must be the prequel to the blockbuster Hollywood movie that will portray Canelo as a fighter who came up from the streets... had nothing given to him... fought his way through a slew of great fighters... clawed his way up the rankings... grudgingly was given stardom status by the evil boxing orgs and TV networks... and finally sits atop the throne of boxing. Not only the Greatest of All Time... but the Greatest Everything.
