Ma man I believe we were both predicting something different.

That is a huge statement / upset of expectations.

    I am speechless.
Good win and a statement. But he's been raked just as badly with looser referees and rallied back vs better fighters imo. And he's calling out the ghost of Khan now...

Benn seems really angry in the interview, I fucking hate Khan, I'd love for Benn to knock him the fuck out, Khan won't take that fight for shit

Benn improved so much between fights?! I am confused about how good that was.
Yes he really has. His last 2 performances have been excellent nothing like the raw domestic fighter he was before the lock down. He has knuckled down and focused on learning the discipline of boxing. Improved his skills and looks destructive.
Eddie saying Amir is a big jump. I believe Amir is KO’d based on this. I had little faith tonight.

He won but he won in fantastic fashion, he should be pushed past UK level now.

20 minutes ago I thought he was about to have a solid 12 rounder and probably lose!!

    Boxing is a strange business.

Khan does not take low money fights, he took money to get KOd be Canelo.

No way that should have been stopped there. Too early in my opinion.

Connor Benn blowing his own trumpet a bit I think. Shouting to Eddie from the ring as well.

    Eddie sees money development,

    Connor wants glory now!

    haha

He wants to keep his mouth shut a bit for me. I remember his dad mouthing off prior to watson and eubank fights.

I'd love to see him fight Khan but don't want Khan to get the pay day.

Khan is still about killing UK boxing at this division.

Let Benn finish what Brook never did.

I wish I never gave up my YouTube channel because this would be a decent one.

Other than the cash grab Khan would, to me at least, be a step backwards based on this result and momentum. Khan has had one foot out the career door for years. No need (fan want) for it really. Come Stateside and beat up Broner for us eh.

I'm guessing it was the adrenaline that was causing him to shoot his mouth off like that but it takes something away from him when he's running around the ring shouting PAY PER VIEW

bit of a dick move, he's usually a really likeable fella but he came across like a bit of a prick after the win there

Broner would be fun while it lasted. Is he still ranked?

Vargas was not answering back with anything. He was out of it and the ref saved him from a brutal knockout.

Imagine you had just beat up the biggest guy in school... that was kinda what he was faced with.

Are we actually annoyed at someone running their mouth about a win?

Let him run his mouth, he was supposed to be tested tonight, in a hard 12 rounder.

I for one, who’d thought he would lose am happy with the shit talk.

No but he's Broner and talks just as much shat . And at this point Hearn could pay him in costume jewelry and free casino buffet vouchers and be fine with it.

Love to see Benn come Stateside ala his ol man way back. Nigel rebirthed career a bit in the States after Watson humbled him badly.

I disagree, knowing how Vargas fights. A standing count would have been more fair. Vargas was taking shots. But he wasn't going down.

If he did go down. Then that would be a fair decision from the ref.

What ever happened to the knockdown rules? nowadays just smother your opponent with good punches and you can win!

    A new tactic is born.

Without tearing open the can of worms..many fights stopped 'across the pond' at first sign of trouble are just not in the States. Now we get a guy flapping on like he just trumped an actual champion . Irony is that maybe the fact they weren't is what got Vargas opportunity after opportunity
